Disclaimer: I don't hate Percy, I just mildly dislike him and his treatment of underworld kids in general in the books but am not making him the "villain," just realistic to his character

"You think she was telling the truth?" Percy asked the other seven and Nico who were all anxiously sitting away from the other campers, hidden from them, who were probably discussing the same things they were. Nico, Hazel, and even Frank looked offended at the mere suggestion that Kyra was lying.
"You think she was lying," Nico questioned like a statement rather than a question since he already knew the answer, for the first time looking like he was ready to punch him if he so much as said her name the wrong way. After all of this, he became even more protective to his sister than before.
"I didn't say that," Percy insisted with annoyance peeking out from his voice, not wanting to get into a fight with the Hades child but he, on the other hand, was fully prepared to knock out the son of Poseidon.
"It was incredibly implied," Nico gritted through his teeth, resisting the strong urge to slap him.
"But I can say with full certainty that I will always be by your side."
Those words echoed in Nico's mind and he still held onto them, determined to do the same for her for the first time after all these years.
"It's obvious she lied to save her own skin, she's proven she can and will do it with zero hesitation," Percy reasoned and Annabeth and Jason looked cautious to trust her just yet while Piper, Nico, Hazel, and Frank seemed to trust her word enough to believe her. Leo had an unreadable expression. "Leo?" The demigods looked to him expectingly, wondering if he was going to make the discussion come to a draw or not and he paused to answer for a moment.
"I trust her," Leo decided with finality like he just swore to trust her for his entire life which he had probably already done before this.
"Oh, come on," Percy gaped at him, ironically like a fish out of water as Nico stared at him with pleasant surprise.
"Dude..." Jason sighed like he was scolding a kid who fell for the same trick twice.
"She's good at lying but I know when she's lying and that wasn't it," Leo argued calmly, jabbing his finger at the Big House.
"She's incredibly good at lying, scarily even but she has subtle tells like looking directly into your eyes for longer than two seconds," Nico added and they all knew Kyra didn't look at any of their eyes or Chiron's when she was talking, just glaring at him with pure hatred.
"She doesn't like eye contact," Leo shrugged it away at their reactions like it was common knowledge.
"You still trust her? After all this?" Percy questioned the other demigods siding with her and Hazel stared at him piercingly.
"She pulled me out of underworld, brought me back to life, and as saved it more times than I can count, Percy. She's my sister. I trust her with my life and I will continue to do so for the rest of it," Hazel hissed at him unwaveringly. "She sacrificed herself again and again, practically throwing herself to the dogs also known as her crazy mother and half-siblings-"
"Ooo, my ears are burning," a voice singsonged from the corner and low and behold, Oizys sat cross legged on a log as she leered at them, taunting them as her eyes screamed mischief. "What are you mortals discussing? I'm bored."
