I have a date! An actual date! Holy Zeus what do I do? What do I wear?

After I walked away from Leo I immediately ran for my cabin when I was out of view so I could freak out and be an embarrassment to my family away from people's viewing pleasure. It then dawned on me that Elly knew what Leo was planning and didn't even tell me. Although looking back she was pretty obvious but I'm too oblivious to notice anything going around me.

Thankfully the date's tomorrow so I can stress for two days instead of one. Yay. I probably should plan my outfit so I look at least halfway decent for a change. On the plus side, I have plenty of time to plan since I am most definitely not stepping a foot out of my cabin considering Leo being Leo most likely told almost everyone in camp or there's a chance he told absolutely no one to keep it secret until we're official or something. I can never really be sure with him. But what I do know is I don't want to risk seeing Leo before the...date. That will be awkward and I really don't want to do anything to make him retract his question.

Also, I'm a antisocial wuss so staying in my cabin it is.

...

20 more minutes to go, my heart is pounding, my palms are sweaty, and I feel like I'm going to throw up yet pass out at the same time. I decided on a simple pair of jeans, a plain black T-shirt, and a flannel shirt tied around my waist just in case I get cold. I didn't know what Leo had in mind so I just went default school clothes.

And then, all of a sudden, my anxious thoughts took over my mind as I paced back and fourth in my cabin. Was I too pushy yesterday? What if he changed his mind? What if he stood me up? What if this just some elaborate prank or a stupid dare. Is Aphrodite just bored so she decided to mess with me? Gods just kill me now please.

I decided that I'm just going to get this over with. I strutted over to the door and yanked it open to be faced with Leo with his hand over his head, about to knock on the door. We stared at each other as a billion and one thoughts rushed through my head trying to find a good way to end this right now and go back to bed.

"Uh...hi?" I greeted making it sound like a question instead of a hello. Gods I'm begging you please just strike me down now. We were both red in the face trying to figure out what to say when he lifted a bundle of wildflowers in front of me, nervously scratching his neck. I cautiously took them, smelling the faintest lavender fragrance smiling slightly.

"Shall we, princesa?" He said in a horrible English accent while moving left, taking the door and bowing dramatically. I snorted walking through the door frame curtsying back almost as dramatically as him.

"We shall, Mr. Elf." I answered mocking a English accent which was probably worse than Leos. We smiled at each other as he grinned as usual, we both began to walk towards the woods. I followed him, as it dawned on me that I had no idea where we were going.

"So Mr. Elf, where are you taking me this time? Or am I just being kidnapped?"

"Nope, it's a surprise."

"So...I am getting kidnapped?" I said raising an eyebrow. He stopped, put his hand on his chest and gasped dramatically.

"You don't trust me, princesa? I'm hurt."

"Frankly, no I don't. Especially since I'm being dragged into the suspicious looking woods by a Christmas elf." I teased as he rolled his eyes playfully.

"Come on, if we don't hurry up Festus with get antsy." He said grabbing my hand and pulling me with him. So Festus is involved in his evil plans. I looked down realizing we were still holding hands, I squealed in my mind but I have to keep my cool although I couldn't help myself from grinning like an idiot.
