"Kyraaaa!" Elly yelled while slamming my cabin door open. I looked up from my book to see Ellys pouting face right above me.
"Yes, person who broke into my cabin?"
"Where were you at the party? I was looking for you everywhere!" She huffed, upset making me remember what happened last night. Oh right...the party. Forgot about that. My bad...
"Yeah...about that...I might've kinda sorta ditc-" I started but she cut me off before I could finish.
"You ditched?! Kyra come on..." She whined, stomping her foot on the ground. I thought they only did that in movies?
"Why do you want me to come out with you so badly?"
"Because... I want you to meet my friends..." She whined again as she pouted dramatically, showing me her puppy eyes. I sighed, rolling my eyes being slightly annoyed at her childish behavior.
"What am I, your mother?"
"Oh come on! Please, please, pretty please..." She begged but seeing that I was being unaffected by her whining she decided the best way to get me to do what she wanted was to make my eardrums bleed. "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE-"
"OKAY! Okay, okay, fine. I'll meet your friends and be your soccer mom, my gods!" She grinned her usual toothy smile and abruptly grabbed my arm. "Oh! Oh okay, we're going right now? Okay it looks like I don't have a choice," I noted as she pulled me towards the door. I soon found out she is much stronger than she looks.
As she dragged me through the fields it caught an elf's attention who was talking with Nyssa, I think was her name. 'Help me!' I mouthed causing him to press his lips together, trying to keep from laughing. I scowled as he smirked at my misery. I can't trust anybody here. I then noticed she was dragging me to a group of people who were sword fighting with each other in the arena. Oh gods, this is going to be horrible.
A girl with tied up dirty blonde hair spotted us and waved while she was fighting with a person one handed with short purple hair and tawny skin. They huffed at the girl following her line of sight, spotted us and smiled at Elly but smirked when they saw me getting dragged by my arm as I tried to plant my legs on the ground to get out of Elly's iron grip. Soon the rest of the group saw her and my pathetic self, I guessed that this was a usual circumstance since none of them were shocked when they saw me.
"Ah, hey Elly! Hey Ellys new victim!" A guy with black hair greeted casually as I remembered briefly seeing him at the Aphrodite table. The brunette girl he was fighting with stopped and smiled sympathetically at me, another Aphrodite girl if I recall correctly.
"Hey guys, this is Kyra! As you can tell she doesn't want to be here but I forced her too." She said blatantly as my eyes widened, flustered but the person with purple hair sighed, looking relieved.
"Oh thank the gods, Steph is a nightmare to fight. No offense," They grinned and 'Steph' playfully pushed them, scowling but she turned to me smiling evilly
"So, Kyra, can you use a sword properly?" She said with a evil glint in her eye. This is going to be good.
"Uh...yeah I guess?" I answered making it sound more like a question than an answer.
"Good enough for me! Grab your sword!" She grinned skipping away to her past spot. The guy shook his head at her and turned to me, smiling kindly holding out his hand.
"Sorry for you being...well, dragged here. My name's Lev." I shook his hand, smiling nervously having a little hope that this group is at least halfway normal for demigod standards. The brunette girl jumped over Levs shoulders, smiling sweetly at me.
