"KYRA GET UP!" I jumped out of bed, falling to the floor in the process and looking around frantically to see Steph smiling evilly.
"What?! What is it, what's going on?! Are we under attack by monsters??" I said frantic looking desperate at Steph in the pitch black of the early morning.
"Pfft no, I need to beat you at training." She laughed shaking her head like I was some stupid puppy who bumped into a wall.
"What? What time is it?"
"It's 6, now come on I need to crush you in something." She grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards my door in my pjs.
"Steph! I at least need to change first!" I said making her stop and she had the AUDACITY to roll her eyes at me.
"Fine...go change, I'll wait outside." She complained walking out my door with me following her.
"So I'll wait out here for a fe-" I slammed and locked my door leaving Steph to bang on it loudly as I fell head first back into my cool bed, shoving a pillow on my face to block out the knocking. I swear they're complete idiots.
...
After Steph picked my lock and dragged me towards the training arena I was completely tired. It was only noon and I felt like passing out but Steph kept dragging me to every competition, race, or game she could think of. We first did sword training, then a literal marathon, then a bench press competition, and of course a thumb war.
Finally it was lunch and I couldn't be anymore happier.
"Ooo I know, a eating com-"
"Say competition one more time, I dare you." I threatened, glaring at her. She raised her hands in surrender and slowly walking backwards.
"Okay okay, geez. We'll continue in exactly one hour!" I rolled my eyes looking up at the sky, silently praying that she might drop dead or at least pass out in a year long coma.
I finally got my food, burned a portion into the fire and sat down. I took a bite of my usual apple sulkily.
"Wow, I don't think I've ever seen you sad while eating an apple. What happened?" I looked behind me to see Leo raising his cute little eyebrow.
"I'm so tired...also I think Steph is more psychotic than me, which is saying a lot." I groaned leaning on the table making him laugh.
"A persons who's crazier than you...well that's new. What is she doing to you exactly?"
"Awww thank you! And shes making me do all these crazy competitions, I swear I ran a marathon because of her today!" I complained throwing my hands up in the air.
"Well I'll be cheering you on every chance I get for you to win these slightly abusive races." He laughed making me chuckle with exhaustion.
"Thanks, Elfie. I'll make sure to devote a win to you like the pure gentleman that I am." I smiled trying to make a decent joke through my sweat. He smiled and said goodbye meeting up with his siblings. I immediately put my head in my arms on the table and used my hour to have the best nap of my entire life.
...
KYRA WAKE UP!" I jumped up from the log I fell asleep on.
"I'm awake, I'm awake!" I yelled looking at Steph wide eyed. She grabbed my wrist, dragging me to her next race.
It was around 8 P.M. and I was completely exhausted from today. My hair was slicked with sweat and I'm pretty sure my eyes were sweating. How are my eyes sweating?
The sun was close to setting and Steph was stretching for the next race. The sky was painted a beautiful orange and pink that made me admire it.
"Okay since we've been doing this for hours on end and you've made it very clear I have no choice in the matter, can I at least pick one competition?" I spoke up using my exhausted, dead sounding voice. Steph looked up while stretching her legs with a cautious look.
"What did you have in mind, Hot Topic?" She said hesitantly narrowing her eyes.
"How about an....arm wrestle?" I said slyly already developing a plan in my head. I knew she would refuse to let me go unless one of us won something and I wasn't going to go down without a fight. Plus I was going to pass out if I don't get a break soon.
"Alright, you're on."
...
"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're stalling."
"Well excuse me for being tired after the five-hundred things you've forced me to do today." I responded trying to wake myself up. It was now 9 and campers were looking curious as to who would win.
Yeah ok fine, they weren't curious, they just wanted to see me lose badly.
"Also, people wanting to see me be utterly humiliated by losing is not the greatest motivator." I added eyeing the crowd trying to act like what I said wasn't the truth.
"That's not true..." She said not sounding very convincing.
"Oh really?" I said, I stood up slowly making my spine crack like a slap bracelet and looked directly at the crowd.
"Who wants to see me lose, raise your hand." I stated raising an eyebrow while people looked hesitant to be honest. "Nobody likes liars, guys." Almost ninety-nine percent of people hesitantly raised their hands, the other percent being Leo looking awkward, his friends, my friends, and Will.
"Put your hand down, death boy." I stated making him make a face and put his hand down. I gestured to the crowd looking at Steph.
"I-Let's just arm wrestle, 'Kay? So we hurry this up and I can win." I rolled my eyes and put my elbow on the random lunch table sitting down. Steph mimicked me and smirked with her hand a foot away from me. I already had a plan that I was confident to win so I could finally go far, far away from these people, preferably with Leo.
Steph counted down so when she hit one we would start the match fairly.

1.Before she grabbed my hands I brought my hands to mouth without taking my elbow off the table and licked my hand. I grabbed Steph's hand quickly and using the fact she was distracted and a little bit disgusted I pinned her arm down on the table.
"Wha-EW! Kyra!" She yelled in disgust, wiping her hand on her jeans. I laughed proudly while smiling and Elly came over to my side grinning.
"We have a winner!" She said lifting my hand in congratulations. "Wait which one did you lick?" I glanced at my hand which gave her the answer. She brushed off my hand on my jean and held up my other hand.
"We have a winner!" She repeated and let go of my hand to give me hand sanitizer which I gratefully took, cleaning my hands off.
"That's cheating!" Steph yelled frazzled taking Elly hand sanitizer also.
"Technically there was no rule against that so....I win!" I smiled happily, thankful that I can finally leave.
"Bu-" I cut her off smiling.
"Nope, I win. That's it. Now if you excuse me, I'm quite exhausted from being dragged around all day, so goodnight." I stated, smirking. I turned around to see the shocked faces of campers realizing that someone beat a Nike's kid.
"And goodnight to you idiots, too." I said passive-aggressively smiling sweetly. I walked through the surprised crowd and left the pavilion. I stopped near the exit, waiting.
I looked to see Leo walking towards me grinning proudly.
"Congrats, Kye." Kye? Did he just call me Kye? That's weirdly cute.
"Thank you, Elfie. Hope you liked your disgusting dedicated win."
"I weirdly loved it." He stayed laughing making me smile. I absolutely adore his laugh.
"Well, good." I paused thinking of something. "You want to have an avengers marathon?"
"I thought you were tired?" He asked and I pretended to think about that.
"I can spare some energy for you." I said smirking making him return it. He stared at me for a moment and dipped down to kiss me sweetly on my lips.
"I'd love to, princesa."
