With a heavy sigh, she set down the dumbbell.

Thinking she should take care of this, she wiped the sweat off of her forehead and threw up her hair into a tight ponytail. As she walked towards the man to confront him, she watched as he stepped back and attempted to look busy. Noticing how he sat down a machine, she huffed and turned back around.

Heading back to the mirror, she lifted her dumbbell back up and continued her work out, her eyes not leaving the man who was staring at her in the mirror.

As the two women got into the car, after freshening themselves up in the gym showers, Lia sighed and looked out the window as they took off.

"What's up?" Lindsay asked, knowing all to well that something was on her mind.

"Lin, this same guy... I keep seeing him everywhere." She cleared her throat, "I don't know if it's a coincidence or if he's following me, but he's almost everywhere I go."

Lindsay's lips pursed. "Restraining order." She spoke from the perspective of a cop. "You've been through enough shit, you don't need something else like that happening again."

"I can't ruin someone's life like that—" Lia sighed, "Because what if it really is a coincidence?" She spoke, adjusting her damp hair over to the other shoulder.

"It's possible but you need to be safe." Lindsay spoke. "Why don't you start taking Luke with you again?" She suggested. "Maybe having a man around will scare him off."

"I think he hates me."

"Who?"

"Luke."

"He could never!" Lindsay shot back.

"Well, we ended things weird and he never talks to me anymore, what else am I supposed to think?"

"Hun, I think you're being a little bit dramatic." Lindsay giggled as she pulled into Lia's driveway, the intention of dropping her back home.

"I don't think so."

"Shoot him a text."

"No!" With a glare coming from Lindsay, she spoke, "I just don't want to bother him- I know his schedule and he just had a night shift."

"Honey, he wants to hear from you."
