"Hey, I have my first shift tonight." Lia said to Lindsay, gently drying off her arm before slipping on a shirt. "I kind of want to hit the gym before I go into work."

"I'll try to arrange that," Lindsay smiles and takes the towel from Lia, throwing it in the hamper. "Do you want me to braid your hair?" She asked softly and watched as Lia stared at her reflection in the mirror.

"Please? I'm tired of it being in my face." She spoke softly and then passed Lindsay her hairbrush and a few hair ties. "And I haven't been able to do anything with it for so long." She muttered and closed her eyes, "You know.. I should look for my sister. Oh my god there's so much stuff I have to do!"

"Yeah, I feel that." Lindsay let out a small laugh and shook her head at her friend as she brushed through her hair. "Have you been in contact with your mom, Lia?" She asked as she finished brushing through Lia's hair.

"I was planning on texting her tomorrow before I bring my car down to the shop." Lia sighed and looked down at her phone as it rung. She picked it up off of the counter and giggled, "Luke's texting me." She whispered to Lindsay and then looked out of the door of the bathroom. "You can't come upstairs to talk to me?" She yelled and grinned.

"Ughh! Fine!" She heard Luke yell back faintly.

Lia laughed and smiled as she heard Luke run up the stairs. As he walked into the room, Lia smiled again, looking over at him. "What's up?" She asked casually and flipped her hair over her shoulder.

"I still think it's too early for you to go back to work.." Luke spoke up and crossed his arms, leaning up against the doorframe. "I think you should rest for a few more days."

"But I need money! I can't live off of your guys' money for the rest of my life." Lia responded and smiled as Lindsay finished her hair.

"You just want her to yourself," Lindsay teased Luke and winked at him, before leaving the bathroom.

Lia blushed and pulled her braids into her shoulder, looking over at Luke. "Is that true?" She asked and watched him rub the back of his neck, then nod. "That's adorable." She giggled and stepped towards Luke, smiling at him. "But I need money. And I'm okay."

"Don't over do it then." Luke whispered and looked down at Lia, dropping his arms by his side. He ruffled his hair and looked down at her, licking his lip before standing up straight.

"Okay, officer. I promise I won't." Lia rolled her eyes and smiled up at Luke, before brushing past him to get to her room where Lindsay was waiting.

"Do you really want to go to the gym?" She asked, looking over at Lia. Lindsay finished pulling her hair into a ponytail and looked down at her phone as it started to ring. Lia nodded and then Lindsay answered the phone. "Officer Barnes." She greeted and then sighed. "Yeah, okay. That's fine." She spoke, "Okay, yeah. You too." Upon hanging up, she looked over at Lia. "Have Luke take you, I just got called into work."

"Okay!" Lia chirped and smiled as Lindsay left the room. Lia followed, but went to the bathroom, where Luke was still staring off into space. "Heyyy," She grinned and poked Luke's cheek, smiling as he came back into focus. "Can we go to the gym? Lindsay got called into work."

"Sure, let me go change." Luke chuckled and ran a hand over his face, leaving the room to go into the guest room.

Lia grinned and walked back into her room, closing and locking the door behind her. She smiled and went into her closet, grabbing a pair of black biker shorts and a dark blue Nike sports bra. She changed, then pulled on a pair of black sneakers and grabbed a tank top to throw over her sports bra, then left her room, looking at Luke who was just walking down the hallway in a light gray tank top and black shorts.

"Let's go!" Luke cheered and rushed down the stairs, Lia following quickly behind. The two ran out to Luke's car and soon they were on their way to the gym.
