Shakily, Lia looked around the building that was flooded full of strangers. She sunk back into the wall as people shoved their way past her. She looked around the room again, wrapping her arms around herself self consciously.

Within a minute of being brought to this place, Jax had gone into another room with  a ton of men and locked her out.

"Hey, you're a new face." Someone spoke timidly.

Lia looked up to see a darker skinned man, definitely latino or hispanic who looked like he was in his mid twenties. Immediately, she could tell this one was not like anyone else here. "Hi," She spoke shyly as she looked down at her shoes.

"What's your name?" He asked quietly, standing beside her nervously. He scanned the room.

"L-Lia," She responded, looking up again to meet the man's eyes. "You?" She asked quietly and timidly, "I'm not sure that I fit in here."

"Call me Juice." He spoke and nodded, "If it makes you feel better, I don't either." He said quietly, "You're safe here though."

"I don't know - Jax scares me." She spoke. It was easy to open up to Juice. Barely a few words in and she already trusted this man. She had started to open up within a few minutes of conversation.

"He has that effect on people." Juice spoke up slowly, looking over at the young woman. "I heard a little bit about you."

"How?"

"They've discussed you before, in church."

"What does that mean?"

"Maybe this was planned."

A chill went down Lia's spine. She looked up and met the man's eyes. "You think so? Do you really think I'm in danger?"

The man nodded silently.
