I giggled, "What's an Aimee?"

"It's latin for princess," DreamXD stated plainly, "You're my Aimee."

I felt myself become flustered and my cheeks began to heat up. Perhaps it was just that the god didn't know the meaning of the word, he wasn't accustomed to mortal behavior after all. However, I couldn't help but feel that he had done it on purpose, and if this immortal divinity truly did like me, there could be some serious consequences from other gods. FoolishG, Drista and Callahan, while not as powerful as DreamXD, might still disapprove of his sudden change of heart, and I of course didn't want to upset anybody, especially a god.

"S-stop," I shied away to the side, "The other gods aren't going to-"

"It's fine Y/n! Just-" DreamXD interrupted me and sighed, teleporting away. I felt really bad all of a sudden, I should have been nicer. Hopefully I would be able to talk to him more later...

DreamXD Pov

I was sick and tired of hearing about the other gods. I couldn't live my own life without them interfering. I was supposed to be the supreme ruler! Why did I need all these silly rules? Then again, the last god to fall in love with a mortal ended up getting heartbroken after his wife died in a war. He struck vengeance on all the human race and disaster broke loose. The people no longer believed in the god, and he ended up fading away. While it was debatable whether or not the tale was true, I just couldn't risk it.

Flying back to the portal in a bit of a huff, I stepped through the frame and arrived at DreamXD land. Callahan greeted me with a wave of his hand and my sister stopped reading her book. The shimmering clouds were welcoming me, yet despite the endless amount of space I felt trapped.

"Hey everyone," I casually said.

"Brother! I'm so happy that you're back!" FoolishG put away his building plans.

"Good to see you too little brother!" I turned to my little sister, "What were you reading Drista?"

"Never mind me!" Drista impulsively awaited the news, "Well?"

I grumbled to myself, "No, the humans don't believe in any more gods. At this point I don't think we will ever be getting another immortal."

"What a disappointment," Callahan mentioned, going back to viewing CaptainPuffy adding an addition to her house.

Settling down on a cloud-chair, I flipped through a few screens until settling in watching Y/n argue to Tommy and Tubbo about entering the end. She was so strong-headed, but in that illustrious kind of way. She was a never-ending mystery, the one person I wasn't able to read like an open book. No spell in the world could make her any more beautiful. No matter what she wore or what she did with her beautiful H/c hair, she was flawless. If only I could actually call her my Aimee, and not just in a platonic way as I had done earlier.

I let out a long flirtatious sigh, lovestruck was the only word for what I was feeling. But my immortality was more important than anything else. Eventually, there would be another goddess, I reminded myself. But I had waited several millennia already, to no avail. Sooner or later I would slip up and nobody would ever remember the name DreamXD again besides in fairytales, and perhaps that would even fade away. After that I would fade away, nothing more than a mere memory of what could have been. Was it worth all this wait? Even if Y/n were to die, wouldn't the experience at least last to something?

While these thoughts rushed through my head, I didn't notice my little sis looking over my shoulder at Y/n. Drista let out a sharp huff, "And just what do you think you're doing?" She finally spoke aloud.

"Nothing!" I defensively jumped up from my chair in surprise, "Just watching some random humans," I babbled my excuse.

She rolled her eyes, "You think I don't know what you've been up to? It's so painfully obvious!"

"If you're implying that I like this human, you ought to look in a mirror," I sarcastically retorted back, perhaps a bit to harshly.

"Look who's talking! At least I'm not chasing after Tommy like a headless chicken!" She admitted.

It took me a bit by surprise, she was usually never open about her relationship with anybody, especially not Tommy. I put this aside and decided to ignore her, a bit of a wall forming in between us, I couldn't help but feel that I had been intruding. Then again, she had insulted Y/n, who ironically had become important to me recently.

...Timeskip one week

Y/n Pov

I started growing a bit worried. I understood that DreamXD might have felt a bit sad when I rejected him calling me princess, but I didn't think it would make him upset enough to leave for a whole week like this. Tommy and Tubbo were packing up there bags, giving up on the fact he might come back and teleport us home.

Trying for one final time I let out a meek shout, "XD! Are you there?"

Instantly, a figure appeared right out of thin air. Yes! I won't have to go home on a horse. I really missed him too...

"Thank goodness! I'm so glad that you're here! I was worried y'know," I told the mischievous masked dream copy, "You look different."

Instead of his usual attire, a regular shirt replaced his normally draping coat. He wore jeans like Tommy, and that's when I realized it, he wasn't flying. In fact, it appeared that he had completely copied Tommy's outfit, only changing the classic red and white shirt to a gray one.

He then made his mask vanish, "I've become a mortal!" He announced proudly.

Disbelief shook my entire body, this was just too much to handle, "Wha-WHAT?!?"

"Don't worry, it's just temporary!" A warm feeling then caused me to ease a bit.

"I was just a bit confused, that's all," I giggled a bit.

"Well?" He questioned me, "Do you think this is a good look?"

I observed the morphed being a bit more closely now. He had chosen a very nice face, he had also shrunken down to a mere 6,3. I couldn't help but smile at the discovery that he had chosen to look exactly what my preferences were. Wait... How did he know that? And... Why?

"I think it's great!" I finally gathered up my energy. God, it sounded like I was choking on air!"

He cleared his throat, "Well that's good, and I um, have a bit of a favor to ask you," He said in a bit of a pleading tone.

"Anything!" I responded merrily.

"Well, you see..." He started, "I was out visiting the other gods, when Drista decided to give me a little challenge," He seemed nervous and at a loss for words, but continued, "I of course excepted," Ugh he was so arrogant, "and the dare was to be a mortal for 3 months," Once again he cleared his throat, "Do you think you could me with that? I need a place to stay and all."

"I would be honored! You can stay at my place! But, I mean I don't want to be a burden or anything... But could you bring us all home?" I inquired.

"Certainly! I still have my powers, I just don't want to use them after we go to L'manburg, the dare and all.

With that, he snapped his fingers and awestruckinly me, him, Tommy, Tubbo, our equipment, and even the horses appeared in front of our large stable.
