"Entanglement" ~A DreamXD x Reader

(V2) Chapter 18

"I love you too," XD gave me a hug, "But right now isn't the time for this, we need to defeat Foolish!"

Nodding my head, I said, "You're right. Let's go find him."

...Timeskip 4 hours

Foolish was here. DreamXD quickly snapped his fingers, sparkes of warm light now shimmering from his hands. Summoning up my own courage, I picked up the especially enchanted crossbow Drista had crafted for me earlier. The enchant would damage even a god, but as for a creator? We had no idea.

Drista and Callahan were on the other side of the entrance, both of their own powers simmering up in their hands. This would be the avenge of Ned, and hopefully a stop from all of the tyranny.

"Well well," Foolish stepped forward, but not so far that our things could reach him, "It appears that you've found my out... little playthings."

Aiming my crossbow carefully, I released the trigger, the flaming magical arrow sizzled through the air towards Foolish, but when it came close, in that mere millisecond he caught it with his bare hands, the fire instantly burning out. The creator squeezed his hand into a fist around the crossbow bolt, and it disappeared in the blink of an eye.

"Y/n? I can see you..." Foolish's eyes glowed, "Would the four of you like to know what this has all been about?" He grinned evilly, "I like to view my little toys, much like you view mortals. This time though," The creator walked forward some more, "Things are going to be a little different."

Confusion ran throughout the three gods' faces and my own, XD becoming more and more uncertain and the light in his hands flickering out.

"I am not FoolishG, just possessing his body, so-to-speak," Once again "FoolishG" stepped forward until we could see him a bit clearer now, "You wouldn't dare hurt your friend, would you?"

DreamXD stepped out from behind the corridor wall that he was standing behind. I wasn't a divinity like all of them, but I could just sense the amount of fury in him.

"Please," DreamXD closed his hands and turned off the light, his only weapon. He shaked slightly, and I had never seen him so terrified, "Why are you doing this to me and Y/n?"

"Ever hear of a bit of fun? I like to tease you lot," The Creator paused, "Unfortunately, your a fail, just like like that dumb egg," The Creator paused for another second, "All of you are."

Foolish's body suddenly collapsed, and out came a ghostly spirit. It was nearly invisible, and suddenly created a whirlwind around XD, till we could no longer see him. I tried to go forward, but I was pressed against the rough wall behind me.

After the wind slowed, The Creator came to his true form, a normal-ish looking human, but paler and more ghostly. Before I knew it, DreamXD had begun to fade, in fact, all of them were, even Foolish who had begun to wake up from being possessed and hitting the ground hard.

"Take out the leader, take them all out," The creator mumbled, "Less work for me I suppose."

"Wha- What's happening to me?!?" Drista shrieked, suddenly disappearing completely. Callahan was next, then Foolish, all of them screaming for mercy until they were nothing but a memory.

DreamXD suddenly approached me, his dying words being, "Forget about me Y/n, forget about all of this... Just move on."

I held onto my lover's hand as he suddenly disappeared, a faint smile on his face as he stared into my eyes. I wasn't even able to say anything, there was just pure disbelief.

"He's right Y/n," The Creator approached me and attempted to put a comforting hand on my shoulder, "Just leave and go home; don't stop running until you get there, get back to your normal life and forget any of this ever existed."
