XD took off his mask again and smiled, "Why don't we just head upstairs? I was a little surprised," Curious how he could have even planned something without me hearing it, I followed him onto the rooftop balcony. There, it was beautifully lit with pink candles, their warm glow illuminating the night sky. It was breathtaking, and utterly romantic. Prepared was a three-course steak dinner, and I was left standing in disbelief.
"How- When did you have time to do this?" I gave a nervous little giggle, not knowing quite how to react. It wasn't the first time he had done such a kind gesture, but it wasn't exactly a regular thing. I was left in awe while looking at the little details, lots of things in f/c (Favorite Color) with pretty f/p (Favorite pattern).
"I still have a few tricks up my sleeve from being a god," He laughed, "Shall we get to eating m'lady?" My fiance pulled out one of the chair's and I took a seat. He then pushed it back in again and sat on the opposite side of me. We had just started engaging in some small talk, when a loud obnoxious knock on the door startled us...
It wasn't even from the regular house door, it was from the rooftop door. Our first instinct was that it could be a dangerous mob, since it was a new house and things could have been lighted a little better.
Immediately, XD pointed with his hand for me to hide behind the little gardening shed on the rooftop, and I did as he instructed. With no other available weapons, he picked up a broom from behind the shed and cautiously approached the door. He opened it with one swift movement, and I heard a loud whack, before a familiar voice yelled "OUCH!"
I sighed and came out from behind the shed, "Quackity, what the hell are you doing here?" He rolled his eyes and responded, "I just came here with news about Ghostbur!"
"Can't it just be discussed later?" I pleaded, trying to show him that me and DreamXD were busy
having a romantic night out- or rather in our house? Either way he clearly wasn't taking the hint, and took a seat where XD was supposed to be sitting.
"Ghostbur is apparently roaming around in a different Smp! Glatt is with him, (Speaking of which Schlattbur book might be coming up soon) according to a few people I've talked to!" Quackity seemed so excited, I couldn't help but nervously just nod my head.
"So is that um, all?" I giggled, "I'm sure your fiance's are waiting for you!" I was saying anything and everything I could muster up to get him out of there.
To my surprise, he began to tear up however, and things only continued to go down south from there. It took about a half an hour, a ton of stress-eating the meal my future husband prepared, and more crying for me to find out that Sapnap and Karl had admitted to him that they would never be getting married.
...Timeskip 30 Minutes
Needless to say the date was completely ruined, but after a few minutes of me and DreamXD staring at each other after Quackity left and we both burst into an uncontrollable laughter. Luckily, he had prepared a midnight swim, and it was already the perfect time to go do that. I ended up grabbing some random hot dogs from the fridge and we both went down to the stables to fetch our horses.
Once again however, another disaster had struck. When Tommy had come earlier, he had decided to take one of the horses, and on the stall door I read aloud the note he had left, "I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but Tubbo had to leave with our horse, so I'll be taking this lovely festive one with me. I'll return it tomorrow!"
"Extremely festive?" I curiously questioned XD, "Did you do something to Holly?" Holly was my new mare, it had been a tragedy when I lost my horse in the Dream Smp, and I had to adopt a new one. She had a pretty white coat, and all white mane and tail.
He sighed, "I got Nikki to help me and together we put a bunch of roses in her hair. She also brought some muffins which were in a satchel for a snack... but it appears Tommy's decided to once again interfere with our plans," My fiance' paused, "Let's just end our date here. I guess we can try again tomorrow."
Both of us were disappointed with this feat, but nevertheless we had bonded in a strange sort of way after the experience.
