It was the middle of the night, and today not even the crickets were chirping. It was a full moon, and everyone slept peacefully in the silence and cover of darkness. Nobody expected anything bad to happen, how could anyone?
The crash could be heard from miles in every direction. It reached the ears of every last person in the Land of Forever to the furthest mob in the furthest of Woodland Mansions, it shook the world, to say the least.
Crowds of people rushed out of their houses, all of us thinking the same thing, Did Gray do this? The strange newcomer had made quite the impression on everyone several weeks ago, and the wedding was in several days. XD and Y/n were worried this would disrupt their plans, after all, illegal mods seemed to be coming in by the dozens these days.
The next morning everyone found that a bomb had launched, a literal bomb. The crater had dented in an entire mountain, with a singpost staked outside, which Tommy read aloud, "Beware of Graystillslays."
With these dreary words still fresh in their minds, Y/n and DreamXD sought out others and conducted an investigation. Burned trees, footsteps in the dirt, and random crafting tables led XD, Tommy, Punz, and Badboyhalo deep into the heart of a spruce wood forest. The four of them saw a brand-new nether portal constructed in the middle of a clear, and they all jumped in. First XD, then Tommy and Bad together, finally Punz going through last.
They entered into a typical warped tree forest. Blood-red vines everywhere, reminding Bad of the Ned days already, tangled green trees, and crimson trees speckled in the distance. The sound of a Ghast could be heard, and a few hoglins strayed near them, but were to near-sighted to see. Their tusks glinted off the lava and glowstone light, illuminated with their hatred, however that was only a myth.
A mess of random blocks were leading up like scaffolding to a level above the nether portal, and carefully the four crafted their own stairway up, with a hay bale at the bottom as an extra precaution.
Punz unsheathed his sword, and Tommy's bow was already loaded. DreamXD carried an axe, and Badboyhalo had a large shield to block himself, and the others, though he had a sheathed sword on him as well.
There was a netherrack shack sitting upon the little ledge. Inside they observed Gray smelt and craft a few items, but nothing out of the ordinary. Their operation was deemed a failure, as they were forced to flee the scene when Gray got suspicious. However, things were even more dangerous than what they had originally believed...
