"Entanglement" ~A DreamXD x Reader

(V2) Chapter 2

The gaping hole was ominously staring at us, do we jump in? I gave a quick glance to Tubbo, who just stared into it, likely thinking the same thing as me. But without any further hesitation Tommy jumped in with a loud thud and shouted from the depths below, "It's all clear! You can come in."

I held Tubbo's hand as he clambered cautiously down some vines, unlike the previous before him. After he was down, I jumped like Tommy, bracing for impact, however I found that it wasn't as deep as I had previously anticipated.

Inside of the stronghold it was pitch-black, not a torch to be seen. Rocky gravel crunched beneath our feet, cobwebs could be faintly seen to hang from the ceiling. Creepy.

"Let's find the End Portal Room," Tommy suggested. Without further complaint I followed, Tubbo at my heels.

The three of us aimlessly traversed the strange corridors, opening any unlocked doors. There were a few libraries, random chest rooms, normal things. The dampness of the cave was starting to make us feel very cold however, and the more that we walked the more uncomfortable we felt.

Tubbo broke the silence, "Maybe we should just head back and get some torches?" But Tommy, the self appointed leader chose to ignore his request completely and tugged me along.

I broke free from his grip, "I think we really should head back-" I was cut off by a deep rumbling voice behind me, "I really think you should."

Terrified, we all turned to see the god himself, DreamXD standing behind us. The divinity was floating a little bit above the ground, a mask saying XD covered his face, his appeared otherwise similar to Dream In the fact that he wore a dark cloak that draped past his feet and almost touched the ground.

"Y-your..." Tubbo sputtered. Grabbing my hand roughly, Tommy broke into a run, but the immortal teleported directly in front of us and we were backed into a dead end.

"It's kind of rude to break and enter into somebody's home, don't you think?" He sarcastically asked us.

Nobody spoke. Just pure silence.

The god muttered something to himself, then snapped his fingers. A warm wind draft traveled down the corridor and suddenly torches were lit, lighting the hallway eerily.

"That's better isn't it?" DreamXD almost commanded.

I nodded my head slightly, poor Tubbo was whimpering and Tommy was just standing there dumbfounded and in pure shock.

My arrogant friend finally said after a long pause, "We've come here to beat the Ender Dragon."

The fool! I thought to myself, if I could I would scream at him and tell him to shut up, but this probably wasn't a good moment. Kicking him harshly in the shin I whispered, "What the %&$(#@%#%$T(#@##$ do you think you're doing?!?"

"Now now, no need to whisper," DreamXD laughed, "You three aren't the first and you certainly won't be the last," He beckoned us with his hand, "Come, I want to show you something."

497 words! Its really good considering I worked on 6 stories today haha. I am trying to make more with better quality but fewer words per chapter. Hope you all can forgive me that things will be a bit shorter haha. I am DETERMINED to post every day or at least every other day.
