"Entanglement" ~A DreamXD x Reader

(V2) Chapter 1

Quick note: Feel free to use your imagination on the !$&(#$&! swearing parts :D

I was packing my bags. What else could I do? Tommy had been able to convince Tubbo that Dream would be completely under their control if they threatened to kill the ender dragon or whatever, but honestly I think Tommy just wanted a win; he had been defeated over and over again and just wanted to do something that seemed important. Who was I to get rid of that dream?

"Are you all packed?" Tubbo shouted from outside, they had been waiting for ages.

"Almost!" I yelled back, putting an ender pearl inside of my bag. I needed something to teleport just in case, since ender eyes couldn't do that. What if we came across DreamXD?

Still with so many questions, I walked outside where Tommy was excitedly already talking about the stages of his, to quote, "brilliant plan." This "plan" he came up with was actually no strategy at all, only consisting of going there on horses, digging, going through the end, and finally killing the Ender Dragon. Not how, who, what or even really really where, just pure instinct.

I laughed out loud and shook my head, "Your hopless Tommy," His response went something like this, "#*#*#*#@*@#*#*# Y/n!"

"If you're going to act like a child for the rest of this journey you can count me out right here," I joked. This was just the beginning of the child jokes.

For the rest of the trip, the entire way we complained about how we had been forced to go on a "child's mission" and how we were "too adult" for this. Sadly I think he took it the wrong way and quickly ending me and Tubbo's bickering by yelling, "WOULD YOU SHUT UP YOU #@($@%&@#(%&(#%$&@%$&'s?!?" That's Tommy for you.

Need to say silence fell for the rest of the quest there.

"The ender eye the ender eye!" My best friend shrieked from the lead horse, jolting me and Tubbo awake from our half-sleep. No longer slumping on his horse, Tommy hopped off his horse and picked up a shovel, immediately getting straight to work and piling up some dirt within just a few minutes.

"This is ridiculous!" I called out after him as he sank deeper into the hole easily dug because of the soft dirt. But he wouldn't listen, instead he continued throughout the night while Tubbo slep and I numbly set up camp, half in a daze, half trying to concentrate on what I was doing.

By morning Tommy had not slept a wink and was halfway to the stronghold. I fell out of bed when he woke me, grumbling in protest and not even getting a chance to eat before I was at work with a pickaxe clearing away some cobblestone. Tubbo was taking away the dirt and together the three of us made quite the team.

Some time in the afternoon, we reached the obvious slabs of the stronghold, Tommy howling to the skies with joy before passing out in exhaustion, but I dared not to. We had worked far too hard for this so with one final swing I broke a hole into the roof of the building.

Quick note: I think I'm writing in third person Y/n, whoops! I am going to write in first person Y/n now, sorry about that.

"Tubbo come look!" I screamed to my friend up above. Tubbo jumped into the hole and began to shed tears of joy when he saw the broken hole. I gave him a big hug, "We did it!

594 words! I am right now aiming to make MORE shorter chapters, so no more 1000+ chapters for a little while. I can post more if the chapters are shorter, plus its more fun for me to right and sometimes it makes things more grammatically correct or I am able to make the chapter end in anticipation.
