The faint sound of zombies approaching awoke me from my confusion, I could see them getting closer and closer! Sure, one or two zombies weren't really a big deal, but from the looks of it, massive hordes were surrounding me from every side. With no weapons besides my hands, I realized that I would very likely die here, and who knows if I would respawn, or how anything was working in this chaotic, half-glitched server.
Immediately, I began running for my life. Thankfully, the zombies were slow and I didn't see any fast baby ones. Taking my chances, I dodged a few skeletons that had spawned and ran into a spruce forest. Soon after, I ended up getting lost and wandering around aimlessly to look for a way out. What seemed like many hours had passed too, with no sign of sunlight or the moon going down. The cold air also finally started to get to me, and with no food or even water it was starting to become very dangerous here.
After a little bit of that, I decided to wait it out and sleep. I was about to sit down against a tree, when I noticed a few bushes, taking one last check, I walked over to see if there was food on them, when a hand grabbed my shoulder with no warning.
Terrified and worried for my life, I jumped back and landed a solid kick on the creature's stomach. That's when I heard it, a very familiar "Oof!" Sound...
"XD?!?" My voice went high pitched, "Is that really you?" There was so much disbelief and commotion between us, hugging, surprised rejoicing, and at least from me, pure joy.
"What are you doing here?" A concerned tone was in his voice, "You shouldn't be here..."
...Timeskip Twenty Minutes
I was now happily sitting with a bowl of soup in my lap inside of DreamXD's warm cottage. We had now both settled down and he began to tell his true story.
"You see," My ex-husband nearly whispered melodically, "Those nearly six years I supposedly spent dead were all fake. A little ruse of mine. You see, I found out that some dangerous people called server raiders had hacked into the server," The coffee mug shook in his wobbly hands, "They found me floating near the bottom of the void, trying with all my might to escape the broken code. That's when they decided to help me."
"That sounds awful..." I put a comforting hand on his shoulder, "You don't have to go on if it's too hard for you."
"No no! It's alright," The past divinity sighed, "They saw potential in me as a god, how I had connections to you all as well, to the true server owner, Dream, and how I could control him. The Server Raiders wanted me to help them wreck the server, they said that they would hurt you if I didn't! I couldn't take my chances, so I simply left. I knew that pain on you would be hard, and I'm sure that it was from what you told me before... But I knew that in a few years time you would all leave. And leave you did! I had done some terrible things though, I helped the Server Raiders on different servers, wrecked them all just to sparey you and all my friends! I'd finally had enough, so I went back, told you the fake truth, and went on the run from them. Finally, after that, I went to the only two servers I thought they couldn't nuke, but HermitCraft was full, and they found me in Hypixel, casting me away here in this old, past-ruined server for the rest of eternity," XD finally paused, "Rest now Y/n... For tomorrow you must leave."
