(V2) Chapter 45

I quickly backed away from him, but he didn't walk forward. He met my gaze, a sincere apologetic look on his face.

"So sorry Y/n, but you see this was all a bit of a setup," He put his hands in his pockets and looked away from me, "Do you remember those good old days? Just me, you, and Tubbo. What happened to us? To our friendship?"

"Whatever that was is gone now," I muttered, "Not after what you've done to me, to everyone! I trusted you, and what happened between you and Drista isn't anyone's fault!" I retorted back at him. The hurt was really getting to me at this point, "And you separated yourself from me and Tubbo. I tried to talk to you, but everything was just... happening so fast!"

"Tubbo is gone," A singular tear went down his face, "I have no idea where he is, if he met the same fate as Techno, I don't know what happened to anyone!" TommyInnit paused, "For your information I was the one who broke up with Drista."

"But why? I thought you loved her!" My voice trembled, this was going terribly wrong, and I had no idea if Tommy was really going to trap me here and kill me. To be honest, I desperately didn't want to die. Not when I had so much to live for.

My ex-friend paused, "I joined the Server Raiders a long time ago, and I regret every moment of it. They forced me to give up this server. They, they ruined my entire life! Now I'm stuck working for a bunch of strangers."

"Just stop all of this madness!" I pleaded, "I know your decrepit, I know everything is going wrong, but so is it for me! DreamXD is gone, our server is in shambles, I can't go back to Afterlife after not being there for so long-"

He cut me off, "And you think I can go back to Origins?!? Just because things ended up now working out between me and Drista, just because we were too different, I was banned. I've got nowhere else to go, and if I release DreamXD the rest of the Server Raiders will permanently erase me."

"Why don't we fight them together?" I whispered, "Take DreamXD, assemble the rest of the Dream Smp one final time, and finish this once and for all?"

A new look of determination crossed over his face, excitement even. There was more awkward silence, something I was practically used to at this point of life. My once again friend took a deep breath and exhaled, closing his eyes as if to imagine something; then looked around the past Dsmp, everything that we had worked so hard for. His familiar laugh then erupted, before he gained control of himself, "Let's do it Y/n. You might not have Afterlife or Night or whatever Smp, and I might not have L'manburg or Origins, but with all of us back together we can #!#%!#$ get a new server!"
