"Entanglement" ~A DreamXD x Reader

(V2) Chapter 37

I fooled around in a couple of Hypixel games, dying pretty often but I wasn't really trying to play. To be honest, I was just trying to find DreamXD. He meant the entire world to me still, and I just wanted to make sure that he knew that. After all, at this point he was probably doing well and far into his life, seeing that Hypixel was a fast-aging server. Suddenly, after about four matches or so, I got partnered up with Technoblade. As we started clashing swords he was easily gaining the upper-hand and I knew that I would have only a moment to ask my question before being knocked into the void.

"Where is DreamXD?" The three words rang out of my mouth smoothly and coolly as if I had practiced them forever. But with just those three simple words, I felt completely at ease and Techno suddenly stopped swinging his sword, pulling me into a hug.

"Y/n?" His voice was barely a whisper, "I'm so sorry for everything!"

I almost laughed, "For what?"

Techno's voice cracked, "I told him to join Minecraft Monday. There was some terrible bug in the code... I don't know! I think we've all lost him for good."

Immediately I sank down onto my knees, sobbing, "I can't have lost him again! He was my rock, my only hope for the future ahead of me," My voice was wavering so much you could barely make out the words; it wasn't even our server where you could keep searching for him!

"Oh I can't do this," Techno suddenly handed me a paper, "Forget what I said. He told me to, but it's just... too cruel to you. Personally I don't think XD deserves you, but whatever. That's a copy of the paper he gave me, told me not to look at it unless it was an emergency. Apparently it leads to the new Smp he went to. I- I hope you find him."

I smiled, then hugged the anthropomorphic pig, waving him goodbye quickly, where would this journey lead me now?
