I walked up the steps of the prison, Sam was already waiting there for me. This visit could mean everything, and I had to be very cautious.
After signing all of the forms and putting my few items into a chest, I walked onto the moving platform. The lava underneath me was bubbling and the temperature was scorching hot, even my shoes melted slightly.
Dream looked at me from inside of the prison, his green eyes resembling those of DreamXD, and bringing me an even higher aching longing to get him back. This was my only shot, and he was the only one who could help me.
Stepping off the platform, the one block wall separated the two of us, the air conditioning of the room feeling better, but still hot.
I waited until the lava fell behind me, then looked at Dream quizzically. Who would talk first?
He ended up saying the first words, fiddling with his finger as he leaned on the small wall, "So... Y/n was it? Why are you here?"
Getting right down to it, I said firmly, "I need to revive-"
But Dream cut me off, sighing, "I'm not reviving anybody! Not without a price at least."
"I know, and I can offer any reward! Gold, jewels, anything!" I begged and pleaded with Dream.
"It's useless here, I don't want any of it," Dream retorted, "I want you to break me out of prison."
Swallowing, I said, "Ok."
"Huh, didn't think you'd be so lenient to it," He rested his forams on the prison wall, "Who do you want me to revive?"
"DreamXD," I squeaked out.
"Haven't tried it on a god, suppose it would work," Dream went back inside of the cell and rummaged through his chest until he pulled out a book, saying a few words and then tossed it into the lava. His face fell instantly, "I can't revive him."
Nearly breaking down into tears, I just nodded my head and left, there was no point in speaking anymore words.
