I felt a stream of tears start to fall from my face and I sank to my knees, "There has to be some sort of mistake. It can't end this way!"
Ned just shook one of his vines sadly, "I'm so sorry Y/n. You truly don't deserve this!" He told me, "And there's one last thing."
Already breaking down, I decided to listen, "Wha- What is it?"
"You can't tell him the reason your breaking up with him," The egg being gently patted my back, "If you like, you may look at the book," With that he teleported the book of rules in and handed to me, the correct page already open.
Quickly skimming across the page, I felt myself sobbing a bit harder now, "It says I have 24 hours," My voice was nearly whispering, "Does that show how much time we have left?"
"Yes," Ned answered me.
The book suddenly changed to, 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 8 seconds. Then 7, 6, 5, I had to hurry!
"Thank you!" My voice was choking up. I grabbed the cake I had made yesterday and ran out the door, my feet flying. "XD XD!" I screamed to the clouds, and I teleported right in front of him, but he seemed angry. I quickly handed him the cake, we might as well go out of this on a high note.
"Are you seriously listening to the egg?" DreamXD growled.
"But I saw the evidence-" I was interrupted.
"HE IS ONE OF THE CREATORS Y/N! In fact," He remarked, "He is the ONLY creator! You nearly fell for his tricks!" My mouth was now agape, I couldn't believe this!
"But then why..." I pondered aloud.
DreamXD sighed, pulled me into another one of his warm hugs, "He's jealous! Never having a real family, Ned does as he pleases. Foolish found out the information this morning, something about the stars aligning told him? I'm not sure."
"Then we have to fight him!" My blood was boiling with hatred now.
"First," DreamXD said, "He's immortal and could kill us all in an instant, why he's probably listening in on this conversation right now! We don't want to upset him!"
Suddenly the door creaked open, and Ned was there. But to our shock, he was fading away... The last word he said was, "Foolish."
