Sam stood at the front door and waited patiently for Saskia. In the meantime, Melly, his wife, had also become aware of the whole thing and was preparing a pot of tea.

Saskia came back and took her suitcase and bag inside and put it down in the stairwell.

"Come with me to the kitchen, you really need to tell me everything," Sam spoke, putting an arm around Sia's shoulder.

Worn out from the long day, she sat down and let Melly pour her a cup of steaming tea. She took a deep sigh and started to tell everything about her headstrong boss Shahbandar. She left out the juicy details, of course. Everything the two of them didn't need to know.

Upset, Lionel stood in his picture gallery and looked contemptuously at the two offenders. "You!" he spoke angrily, pointing at PJ, "what on earth do you want from me anyway! Could it be that you are pretending to be something you are not at all? Or why else is there no 'Puznowski' at the Savoy Hotel?"

PJ turned chalky white, only to immediately turn red as a tomato again.

"Could it possibly be that your picture is a fucking fake?" he continued. Because if she and Deane thought he was a complete idiot, they were wrong. Even though he always pretended in front of the others that he didn't know anything about painting. He knew more about it than he pretended to know. Making oneself look dumber than one actually was often brought advantages. Because one was underestimated most of the time and in return got to see the weaknesses of the others.

When he studied the stupid faces of the two, he almost started to laugh, but he was much too angry and disappointed by this whole farce for that!

"And now to you Mister Deane! You have worked for me for the last day today! Put the picture back on the table immediately and see to it that you disappear immediately, before I call the police. The best thing is to take this insufferable person with you, who has only cost me valuable time!" he grumbled and looked back and forth between the two impostors.

Harry moved first and placed the original picture on the table. Immediately he went to PJ and dragged her along with him so they could get the hell out of there as quickly as possible.

Upset, Lionel watched the scene until his eyes fell on Leonardo. He quickly went to him and knelt down. Horrified, he realized that the cord had slightly injured Leo's leg and the scratch was bleeding. Immediately he began to untie the knots so that the animal could move again.

The only positive thing was that the wound was very small and would heal on its own. Thus, he would not need a veterinarian.

It was only when Lionel had calmed down a bit and taken care of the injured Leonardo that he noticed that his assistant was no longer present at all. Where had Sassy gone? Probably she had gone to her room or she was still somewhere at the party. He had to talk to her, he wanted to know why she had changed so much.

Lionel stood up again and patted the little dust off his pants. With his head held high, he went back to the polo club party. Probably no one had missed him yet anyway. When he didn't see Saskia anywhere there either, he decided to let it go for the moment and he treated himself to a few glasses of champagne and a snack.

Lionel could not enjoy the rest of the evening, something was missing. But he could not and would not admit that to himself. Slowly he walked through the dark park, which was illuminated with individual lamps. Music could be heard playing softly in the background, as well as the murmuring and laughter of people who were enjoying the evening more than he was. He had buried his hands in his pockets and tried to distract himself, but the strange feeling of having lost something remained.

When Saskia had told everything, Sam snorted in mock anger. "That rich guy was just playing with your emotions! Just wait until I get my hands on him!" he thundered loudly.

"Shhhhttttt, keep it down! Otherwise you'll wake up our daughter," Melly hissed at her husband.

Saskia had to laugh slightly. The two of them always managed to distract her in a positive way. "Don't worry, that will never happen. I'm done with him and I'm sure he has better things to do than miss me," she said slightly sarcastically to the two, taking a sip of the now cold tea.

"It's late and we'd better all go to sleep," Melly said in a soft commanding tone.

"I absolutely agree, the day is long enough as it is and I'll be glad to be rid of the dress and wear something comfortable again," Saskia confirmed Melly's statement.

At the same time, everyone rose from the table and made their way upstairs. Sam helped Sia to bring the suitcase and the bag into the room.

Relieved, Saskia closed the door behind her and went into the small bathroom. She carefully removed her makeup with the utensils she had brought with her and put on a night suit.

Tired, she lay down in bed and snuggled into the soft blanket. She was glad to be far away from the lord. Even though the thoughts of him hurt incredibly, she was more than relieved not to have to see him every day anymore, because she certainly wouldn't be able to do that.

By now, hours had passed as the polo club celebration came to its end. Lionel was incredibly relieved when the last guests got into their limousines and left his estate.

He would have loved to go to Saskia's room, but she was probably already asleep and he didn't want to disturb her anymore. But at breakfast he could certainly exchange a few words before they went back to work.

He didn't know yet that she wasn't even in his estate anymore. He would experience this surprise only tomorrow.
