Saskia was confused about Lionel's statement, but was far too unfocused as his lips more than distracted her. His perfume rose into her nose and a moan escaped her.

Slowly Lionel broke away from her and looked her in the eyes again and said, "Let's get to work, we're already behind schedule anyway."

Sia had let him catch her off guard a bit, because actually she didn't want to give in so easily. After all, he'd had a woman's visit yesterday. Who knows what she was here for, she felt confirmed that he had to know this woman better.

She bit her lip, not wanting to seem childish when she called him on it. But she wasn't going to be taken advantage of, not anymore. Wordlessly, she paced beside him and suddenly grabbed his arm, making him stop and look at her. "Lionel, what are you doing here," she addressed him, gesturing back and forth between them.

Lionel raised his eyebrows and continued to look at her without saying anything.

Saskia got a bad feeling and averted her eyes, but still wanted to say something about it, "You know Lionel, then it's better you don't kiss me anymore. I won't let you use me, and I certainly won't play second wife, or anything else." She couldn't help that her voice sounded disappointed and slightly hurt. After all, last night was still gnawing at her, where she had only been disappointed as well.

Lionel had been looking at her the whole time. He saw her disappointed look, which she turned away from him. He didn't really know what it was going to be, but he didn't want it to end either. He raised his hand and stroked her cheek with his thumb. "Saskia, I can't tell you where it's going, at least not yet. But you're certainly not a second wife or anything. Yesterday you saw my ex-wife, that's all. She just wanted to discuss something unimportant with me," he explained to her calmly.

Again the two looked into each other's eyes and it was silent for a short time.

However, since Lionel was still just as sick to his stomach about last night, he inquired as well, "How was your evening yesterday, did you meet anyone in London?"

"No. There was no one more suitable," she replied.

Still stroking her cheek, Lionel said, "That's all right then." He immediately gave her a soft kiss on the lips and pulled her further back into the gallery.

Together they looked at the various paintings and discussed them in between. Again and again Lionel touched her on the back or shoulder, Saskia felt so secure in his proximity. His explanation had relieved her and the fact that he didn't know where it was going yet was completely okay for her for that moment. But she would never confess to him that she had already fallen in love with him. It was much too early for that.

The rest of the day was packed with work and nothing special happened. The two of them completely overlooked the time. Only when the butler came into the gallery did they realize that it was already time to have dinner.

Together they went to the dining room and sat down like the other days. Again and again Lionel reached under the table to her leg and stroked his fingers along her thigh.

As they talked about trivial things, Saskia grew more and more restless inside. Lionel's touches did not leave her cold and slowly but surely she would have liked to throw herself on him and explore his whole body.

Not much different happened to him, his pants were getting tighter and tighter and he would have loved to push his fingers into other regions as well.

If Lionel had his way, he would make love to her tonight. But he didn't know yet if she was ready for it. He would see when he went to his room and tasted his chocolate with her. But before that, it was time to make his usual rounds.

"Do you want to come with me to Leonardo's again today? But before that, I also have to check on the dogs," Lionel asked Saskia, continuing to run his hand over her thigh.

"I'd love to," she replied promptly, and now reached down onto his leg as well and squeezed lightly. His gaze seemed lustful and intense, which gave Saskia goose bumps. She immediately imagined what he was like in bed and with a little luck, she would soon find out.

Lionel leaned forward to her and briefly touched her earlobe with his lips and gave her a kiss next to it on the tender skin. "Let's not waste any more time," he murmured to her, rising at the same time. He held out his hand to Saskia so that she could stand up more easily.

Together they went into the small hall next door, where the hounds were already waiting for him. Impatient as always, they wagged around Lionel, but also around Saskia some romped and sniffed at her curiously and jumped up joyfully.

What was it about Saskia that made all the animals so fond of her? Lionel watched her as she petted his dogs and mingled with Gem. Since Saskia was here at his estate, his cat was completely fixated on her. That's why she didn't come to him every night anymore.

In the meantime, some time had passed and the two went on to Leonardo. He, too, let her pet him immediately and without shyness. Lionel merely stood next to her and enjoyed the peace and quiet that prevailed. For him it was unusual that he no longer carried out his evening walk alone. It was nevertheless for decades always his time in which he could take distance from the day and the events.

Lionel still did not know exactly whether he liked the current situation, or whether he would rather have this time for himself. For now, he would resign himself to Saskia's presence. Sassy was only here temporarily anyway, after that he had everything to himself again.
