Saskia didn't really want her own thoughts, but she couldn't help it. She imagined Lionel tasting the chocolate together with her and seductively shoving the pieces into her mouth....
Had she gone completely crazy already? Apparently she hadn't had a partner for too long, if she was having such strange dreams about her boss out of nowhere. Saskia quickly took the last sip of her espresso and put the cup back on the tray. Since Lionel was just as finished, she did the same with his cup. She just wanted to get out of his office before her musings took on yet another dimension. Where did these longings come from within those few hours she had spent near him since then.
Saskia decided in her own mind to go out with friends again, maybe she would meet someone. That would probably be the best thing and she should organize it as soon as possible, maybe the very next weekend!
She got up and went back to the break room with the empty cups to put them in the sink. This business dinner tonight could be fun, she was already curious how he behaved towards her. Back at work, she did her job as concentrated as possible. The rest of the day went by without a single incident. Shahbandar stayed in his office and did not seek any more contact with her.
Saskia looked at the clock and decided to go and get changed before time ran out. She took her bag from the rack and went to the washrooms. Once there, Sia locked herself in the restroom, took off her blouse and changed it with the new top she bought.
When she was done with that, she went back out of the cabin and stood in front of a mirror that hung above the sink. Critically, she looked at her appearance. With her fingers, she loosened her hair to make it look more voluminous. Saskia rummaged in her bag for her favorite perfume and sprayed some into her neckline. Finally, she renewed her lip balm so that they felt soft. Saskia stowed everything back in her bag and walked out of the washroom.
As soon as she was back at her workplace, Lionel stepped out of his office. He looked quite relaxed and ran his hand through his silvery hair. "Come on, I'm ready. We can leave now," Lionel addressed Saskia. The latter took the bag with the documents and writing utensils and joined Shahbandar. Her boss's gaze remained fixed on her for too long for her taste.
Together they went to the elevator and got in. When the door closed, Saskia felt as if the cabin was getting narrower and narrower. Slightly nervous, she fiddled with her bag and avoided looking at her boss. He, in turn, stared at Saskia's restless fingers and wondered what his assistant was up to all the time today. Was she overwhelmed with her task? He would see today.
The door opened on the first floor and together they strode wordlessly through the entrance hall. Saskia followed Lionel toward his limousine. He opened the car door for her and Sia sat down inside against the direction of travel. Directly opposite her, Shahbandar took a seat. Unintentionally, their legs bumped together since there wasn't that much room. Saskia looked at him apologetically for a moment and put her legs at an angle so that Lionel had enough room. Actually, she could have sat down differently, maybe she should.
"Wait, I'll move so you have more room for your legs," she spoke, slightly embarrassed. Sia was about to sit down when Mihai made a full stop. She lost her balance and fell right into Lionel's arms.
Saskia could already feel herself turning bright red, she looked up and looked directly into Lionel's brown eyes. "Not so rushy," he growled darkly, unconsciously stroking her back. Still lying half over him, she quickly scrambled to her feet and sat next to him, looking out the window awkwardly.
It had gone completely silent in the limo.
Lionel's hormones had been slightly messed up when Saskia's soft body had lain on top of him and her exquisite perfume had caressed his nose. He still felt the touch and saw her red cheeks in his mind's eye.
Sia was still looking out the window, she just couldn't calm down. As she lay in her boss's arms, she felt incredibly comfortable, and when he stroked her back as well, she blew a fuse. She could only repeat her thoughts of today internally, she must be completely crazy....
Fortunately, they drove straight in front of the restaurant and the confusing thoughts of the two were thus interrupted. Lionel helped Saskia out of the Rolls-Royce and even held out his hand to her, which she gratefully accepted. His big hand felt good over hers. As befitted a gentleman, he placed his hand against her back and escorted her into the expensive restaurant. All eyes were on the two of them, after all, he was not an unknown man. The lord seemed to enjoy the looks, Saskia rather not.
As they walked together to the bar of the restaurant, Lionel saw Mister Zaidenweber already standing there, waiting for him. They greeted each other fleetingly and sat down at the reserved table. Zaidenweber talked like a waterfall and apparently thought he was the best person in the world. He didn't even look at Saskia and talked only to Shahbandar. In the meantime, she prepared her writing materials and immediately began to take notes on the words of this man, which made little sense.
A waiter came to the table and served the food Lionel had ordered. It was a variation of seafood. The art curator immediately began to eat eagerly, squeezing the lemon over the mussels. Saskia watched him slightly disgusted, this one really had no table manners, for sure even Sam as a peasant had more manners. Exhilarated at this thought, she grinned, not noticing Lionel watching her and looking at her in slight amazement.
Focusing again on the here and now, Saskia looked at him. "Lionel you are welcome to eat my mussels, I don't eat that kind of thing," she said to him, thinking that was why he was looking at her that way.
"The mussels are also considered an aphrodisiac," Zaidenweber interjected, grinning insinuatingly at Lionel, "in case you receive a few more ladies at home today, Mister Shahbandar."
Saskia unconsciously drew her eyebrows together, she didn't know why, but this statement bothered her. Besides, she had grown to dislike this guy terribly.
Lionel also looked at Zaidenweber a bit strangely, but said nothing to his comment.
