Isaacs POV:

How many hours has it been where I haven't seen her? Held her? Kissed her? She's all I can think about.

Stiles went to get her and Scott. I've been stuck here with Rafael, Allison, and Lydia since.

I've been anxiously picking at my nails, waiting for her arrival. Raf is soothing Allisons worries about her father that was taken because we came up with a stupid plan that I went along with. Lydia watches me pace around the small veterinarians office.

"What?" I finally ask her.

Lydia's lips pull into a knowing smile. "You really like her?"

Like her? I more than just like her. Not that I've told her that yet. She may think it's too soon.

"Yeah, I really like her."

She settles herself like she's about to tell me a secret. "I'm not supposed to say anything, but I care about her too much not to tell someone really close to her." I nod and she keeps going. "She's going through a really rough time, her grandma dying, Boyd dying, her trying to save everyone. I think- I think something's going to happen under our noses if we don't do anything."

I can't even fathom the pain Phoebe experiences, and yet, she still wears a smile through it all. "What makes you think that?"

Lydia's eyes flash to Allison and Rafael to see if they're listening. They're not, they're too engrossed in each other. "At school, she had some sort of anxiety or panic attack, and Stiles had one not moments before." Her face lights up like she remembers something. "But don't tell her you know! I wasn't supposed to tell anyone, especially you."

"Me?"

The red head nods. "She's afraid you won't forgive her."

"Forgive her for what?"

"I'm not sure, maybe leaving with Scott to the Alpha pack?"

I shake my head, "But that's not her fault, she's doing what she thinks she has to."

Lydia's lips press together. "Try telling her that."

Not a minute later, I hear Stiles and Phoebe making they're way in. My heart races when she walks through the doors. She's beautiful and she's not even trying. Her hair is naturally wavy and pulled up into a ponytail. Her shirt and jeans accumulate her perfect curves. Her shoes making her taller than she already is.

When her piercing dark eyes lock with mine, her heart races even faster than mine. A gasp makes its way out of her mouth. "Gotta go!"

She turns and runs the other way so fast I don't have any time to blink.

"Phoebe!" I call out after her. Why is she running?

Rafael looks at me, partly shocked, partly confused, and partly amused. "What are you waiting for? Go after her."

I'm out the door and running after my girlfriends whos legs carry her a good fifteen yards away.

"Phoebe! Phoebe will you stop!"

She's down the street and turning past a drug store. She slows down but then continues. I wonder what she's thinking about.

"Come on, Phoebe! Stop!" I plead loudly but nothing's stopping her.

I can tell she hears my footsteps behind me and she runs faster. Why won't she stop? Doesn't she want to hug me as much as I want to hug her? Hold me as much as I want to hold her? I force myself to go to a jog so my thudding footsteps quiet. Phoebe seems to notice and turns her head to look back at me.
