Rose looked back at Sloane in the backseat, "ready to see the house?"

Sloane nodded enthusiastically as Ransom pulled into the driveway of a big Victorian house, "it's so big!"

Rose laughed, "lots of room for you to run around. You actually have a yard now."

"Can I see inside? Can I pick my own room?"

Ransom chuckled as he parked, getting out of the car as he let her out, "of course you can. There's four bedrooms upstairs. You can choose which one you like." He watched her run into the house as he grabbed Rose's hand. "I think she likes it."

Rose smiled, "she's only ever lived in the apartment. The only yard she's ever gotten was at my dad's house." She looked down as Sloane came running at them as they entered the house.

"Can we get a dog now?"

Ransom grinned, "absolutely. Dogs good. Snakes bad." He laughed as Sloane rolled her eyes before wandering off again. He turned to Rose in the middle of the living room, "you like it?"

She smiled as he rested his hands at her waist. She wrapped her arms around his neck as she leaned up to him on her toes, "I love it Ransom. I can't wait to break in our room."

He laughed, "oh, me too." He pulled away before she could kiss him, laughing as she groaned, "hold that thought. Sloane!"

Rose pulled away, looking at Ransom confused as he yelled for Sloane. She watched Sloane enter behind her.

"Now?"

Ransom nodded, "yes love. Now."

Sloane grinned, pulling something from her pocket to hand to Ransom.

Rose looked from Sloane to Ransom as he knelt in front of her. "Ransom. What are you doing?" She felt her heart beginning to race as she watched him hold a ring box out to her. She looked at Sloane to see her grinning at them.

"Look at me Rosie." He waited until Rose looked back at him before opening the ring box to display an engagement ring, "I know we haven't been together that long, but I know I've loved you since I first saw you sitting there at the bar in that red dress. I know I was scared and ran away, but I'm done running. I love you so much and I want nothing than to be here with you Rose. With you and Sloane. Will you marry me Rosalie Miller?"

Rose nodded, smiling as she felt tears streaking her cheeks, "of course I will." She knelt down with him, slipping the ring on her finger as she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him into a kiss. She grunted as she felt Sloane wrap her arms around the both of them, making her laugh.

"Does this mean I can call you dad now?"

Ransom was taken aback at her request, looking at Rose.

Rose shrugged, grabbing Sloane's hand, "do you want to call him dad?"

Ransom saw her nod as he felt a knot in the back of his throat, "you do?"

Sloane laughed, "of course I do. Is it okay?"

Ransom nodded, "I'd like nothing more Sloane." He pulled her into a hug, looking at Rose to see her crying. He grabbed her hand, "it's okay. A lot in a short amount of time."

Rose chuckled, nodding, "I know. You trusted her to hold onto the ring all day?"

Ransom laughed, "I did. She even helped me pick it out, didn't you love?"

Sloane nodded, "we looked at sooo many rings mama. Ransom couldn't decide."

Rose laughed, "is that so? I didn't know you were so good at keeping secrets."

Sloane shrugged, "Ransom said it was important not to say anything until it was time. Do you love it?"

Rose nodded, "I do love it. Thank you Sloane. You guys are the best."

Ransom smiled, "you guys are the best! I couldn't be happier." He laid back on the floor in the empty living room, "well, I might be slightly happier when the moving truck gets here."

Rose laughed, laying on the floor next to him as Sloane positioned herself between them. She looked over at Ransom to see him watching her. She scooted towards him, kissing him as they heard the truck outside.

He chuckled, "of course. Let's go girls. Sloane, did you pick out a room upstairs?"

Sloane stood up, "I did! The one with the big closet and bathroom."

He laughed, "that's the one I thought you would pick. It's all yours love. You can tell the movers which room to take your stuff to."

Rose sighed as Sloane ran outside, "she's going to stand there and tell them all what to do now."

Ransom laughed, wrapping his arms around her from behind as they made it to the porch. "So? Let her. Less for us to do."

Rose laughed, turning around to face him as she wrapped her arms around his neck, "I love you so much Ransom. I can't wait to marry you."

He grinned, "me too." He smiled at her small moan as he pulled her lips to his urgently. He sighed, pulling away. "We need to get the bedroom set up right away." He smiled at her giggle. "Is that your agreement?"

Rose nodded, "obviously."
