"alright ms.jones, the game is installed. did you wanna look it over before we left?" the delivery guy asked. I nodded, following him downstairs to the basement that marshall had converted into a man cave.

I chewed at my lip, "oh, he's gonna love this" I said, overlooking the machine. "so, before I leave we will need a few signatures and a credit card to run" he said, handing me the clip board as I handed him my credit card.

"so, you're marshall mathers' girl" he said as I let out a low chuckle. I nodded, continuing to sign the paperwork, "in the flesh.." I said before handing back the signed papers. "it's lovely to meet you, i've been a fan of mr.mathers for as long as I can remember"

he let out a low chuckle, "every song he puts out is just top tier, the man never misses" he said as a smile curved my lips, nodding in agreement. "well, i'm more than positive that marshall is grateful for his following"

"well, this piece is definetly nostalgic. i'm assuming the games for marshall?" the delivery guy asked as I nodded, again. "yes, for his birthday.." I said barely looking away from my phone as samantha was texting me about our winter launch.

"I literally needed him anywhere but here this mornin'.." I said, before plopping down on the couch and closing my eyes, worn out. hailie let out a low chuckle, "so, you could hang all the birthday decorations?"

"and, bake the cake..?" alaina asked jumping in on the conversation. I shrugged, "I might have gone a little overboard for your dad's liking but, I just want him to have the best birthday ever" I said softly.

"and this is why we knew you we're perfect for dad. you go above a beyond for him, and he does the same for you.." alaina said as my face flushed. I cleared my throat, "i'm gonna head upstairs to start on dinner, y'all wanna come up?"
