"There is no way I'm letting you go into CADMUS alone," Alex said with an air of finality.

"Letting me? I don't remember asking for your permission. MY daughter is missing, and I happen to know exactly where she is. Why should I wait?" Kara was just about ready to fly off.

An arm on her shoulder stopped her," I agree with Alex. Isn't it a bit weird that we got Leigh, and within the same day this file showed up?"

"Lena, I can't sit here and plan while your mother experiments on my daughter."

"Our daughter Kara, she's my daughter too. Don't you think I want to go and get her? But Lillian is waiting on us, most likely with kryptonite. I'm not risking you," Lena didn't know what else to do. Kara seemed hellbent on leaving.

"And I'm not risking our child."

"What about Leigh? What's gonna happen to us when you walk into CADMUS all by yourself and Lillian kills you, huh? What am I supposed to say to Leigh and Lori when they ask about you? I- I can't do this without you," she took a second to clear her throat," I just got you back, I don't think I can lose you again."

Kara wasn't sure if her friend was referring to their momentary lapse in friendship or her week in the Phantom Zone, but she was sure that she felt bad. "I'm so sorry, Lee." The blonde superhero apologized. "Alex," she turned to face her sister," when's J'onn coming back?"

The Martian had been off-planet for the last week helping out on some planet Kara had forgotten the name of. "He said he'll be back before lunch tomorrow. That should be enough time to get a few other friends to help out."

"I'll get Nia and Brainy up to date on everything. You three should go home."

"Bye, Alex." The women said before together, leaving her lab.

"Kara, can you hold her while I call my driver?"

Kara took the baby," Why don't I fly us back?"

"Are you sure?" Lena asked. "Yeah, it's easier and faster than waiting in the cold with Leigh."

After handing the baby back to Lena, Kara brought the brunette into her arms and flew them back to Lena's apartment. The flight back was quiet, Leigh was asleep, and neither of the women wanted to wake her.

Kara and Lena separated when the superhero landed. Lena took their daughter to her room and laid her on the big bed. Lena stood watching her sleeping daughter for a few minutes. Images of another green-eyed baby flashed before her eyes, bringing a smile to her face. She pressed a gentle kiss to her daughter's head before leaving.

"Kara, call the store and find out when the baby stuff is set to arrive." Lena didn't know if she wanted to add stuff to their order or start a new order altogether.

"Actually, they've already arrived. We can put them together now if you'd like." Kara offered.

"I'm scared," she whispered, but Kara's super-hearing managed to pick up her barely audible words.

"Lena," Kara pulled the woman into her arms," what's wrong?"

"What if I mess them up?"

"Lena, you aren't gonna mess them up. From what I've seen today, you're doing amazing." Kara tried to reassure the brunette.

"But what about when we get Lori? We don't have anything for her. I don't know what I'm doing." Lena clung to Kara's shirt as she spoke.

"I see you've already made up your mind on her name," she managed to get a small smile out of her friend. "It seems you may have forgotten that you're a billionaire with connections in weird places. We can order some stuff while we finish Titanic."

Kara led Lena to the sofa," Where's your laptop?"It's in my room."

All Lena felt was a breeze against her skin as Kara left and returned with her laptop.

"That's adorable," Kara exclaimed. Lena couldn't disagree, the supergirl onesie was adorable. Titanic had been long forgotten, and the women were too busy looking at baby clothes to even notice the movie had finished.

"Kara, I need to pee. Let me go." Kara removed her arm from around Lena's waist where they were drawing nonsensical patterns. "Look for a nice double stroller in the meantime," Lena said before scurrying off to the bathroom.

Kara typed it into the search bar and scrolled through a few pictures until Lena came back.

"Did you find any good ones?" Lena asked.
"I'm not sure which one is best," the blonde answered honestly.

"Definitely not that one," Lena pointed at the screen. "What's wrong with that one?" Kara asked. "It's built weirdly." Lena's engineering background had helped them pick out a safe stroller for the girls.

"I think that's it," Kara said. "Do you think I should buy a new house?" Lena asked.

"Do you want to buy a house?" Kara asked her.

"My apartment isn't really baby proof, let alone super baby proof. It doesn't have enough space for all of us. The girls are going to need separate rooms, and I've always wanted a pool, and you may want a workroom." Lena realized what she said immediately after saying it. "You don't have to live with us. It's just that the girls might appreciate having both of us under one roof. Not that we need to. It's just that I think it'll make the whole parenting thing easier," She rambled.

"Lena, calm down. I have never seen you ramble this much. The girls can both stay in the guest room for a few months. And maybe before their first birthday, we could revisit the topic of buying a house." Kara's offer seemed to consolidate Lena enough for her to leave the topic.
