"Kiera!" Kara hadn't heard that name in so many years. Even after Cat came back to Catco all those months ago, she hadn't once heard the older blonde pronounce her name so badly.

"Yes, Ms. Grant," Kara's reply was instantaneous.

"My office. Now!"  Cat was upset with something the superhero did.

Kara was quick to follow Cat's orders. Sending Nia a small smile as she made her way into Cat's office.

"Close the door and sit down," Cat instructed.

"Ms. Grant," Kara started but was cut off by Cat's hand raising, signaling for her to stop talking.

"Tell me why I have photographers sending me pictures of you and Ms. Luthor out with two unidentified babies?"

"Oh, my Rao. Has anything gotten out?" How did she not think of this, the last few days? She somehow managed to forget that Lena was somewhat of a celebrity in National City, it wasn't uncommon for paparazzi to spot them when they went out for lunch, worse yet when they were each holding babies. How did she manage to not notice them taking pictures? Normally, she's very attentive to these things.

"No," Cat deadpanned. "Lucky for you, I've been shooting them down. Now I expect a full explanation and an interview from you and Lena whenever you're both ready to share." Cat left no room for disagreement. What she said was final. There was a big story to be released, and her name would be attached to it.

"Thank you so much, Ms. Grant. I assure you, you'll be the first and only person Lena and I sit down with."
"Okay. Now get to work. I don't pay you the big bucks to laze around." Kara was quick to leave Cat's office and head to her own.

Now that everyone knew she was Supergirl, she'd started taking on more non-superhero-themed stories. She was currently working on a piece about the very popular Roe v. Wade discussion. And while she had a lot to say, she just wasn't sure how to fit all those very important words into her assigned 3000 world limit. But like any good reporter, she'd meet the requirements.

Kara didn't have a busy day; Supergirl, on the other hand, wasn't as lucky. She had four emergencies: an armed bank robbery, two explosions, and a school bus collision, which was possibly the most gut-wrenching of them all. All in all, by the time 6 pm rolled around, she was more than ready to fly home and cuddle with her daughters.

But she once again wasn't lucky enough for a quiet flight home. Passing over L-corp, she'd heard not only a spike in Lena's heart rate but also another elevated heart rate. She didn't bother changing into her super-suit. She dropped down onto the balcony.

The sight before her was nothing like she expected. Where she was expecting to see a murder or even execution attempt, seeing her brunette friend wrapped happily in the arms of Sam was a much happier sight. Yet, still, Kara felt uncomfortable seeing Lena enveloped in the arms of another.

Feeling the superhero's eyes, Lena extracted herself from the embrace and quickly made her way to the blonde.

"Kara, is everything okay?" Lena asked. The blonde's telltale crease between her eyebrows worried her.

"I'm fine now, I thought you were in trouble. I was so scared."

"Everything's okay. I'm okay," Lena reassured the Kryptonian in front of her.

The two women were in their own bubble, Kara's hand had made its way around Lena's waist, and Lena's had migrated to the blonde's shoulder. It wasn't until Sam cleared her throat, successfully reminding the new mothers of where they were, that they separated.

Both sporting pink cheeks; they rushed to apologize.

"It's okay, " Sam waved them off. "I'll see you tomorrow for lunch, Lena. It was nice to see you, Kara, we'll have to meet up while I'm here."

Sam left.

"Do you want to leave with me, or do you still have work to do?" Kara asked.

"I already called my driver, he should be here soon. We can pick up the girls together and get pizza on the way home, that's if you want to. Or you can get them and I can get dinner on the way home. Whichever you prefer." Lena offered.

"Lena, we'll go together. Only if you promise that there isn't any kale," there was utter disgust in the way Kara muttered the last word, as if it had already assaulted her tastebuds.

"Okay, but there must be at least three vegetables on yours. And that doesn't include the tomato sauce."

Kara tried her hardest to work her way down to one vegetable. She even pulled out her puppy eyes, but that only got her down to two.
