Night is the quietest time of day
It is so easy to hear the insects sing
A musical tune that can serenade anyone
Must be why kids do not have bad dreams
Adults always try to make it seem that the dead of night is the scariest place to be
But it's when the sun it out
That's where all the monsters meet
They congregate by the neighbors houses
Invited to one's own home
The truth is you never know who is who in the world
No one is who they say they are
It's all an act to see what can come of this new found friendship
What weaknesses
Vulnerabilities and secrets that can be turned against you
It's all an act
More of a game they like to play
To see what lives they can walk into
And which ones can be turned into a ground to play
Although the in the dead of night
There is no light in sight
The body is more at ease
But the mind is flooding with thoughts
It's not the night that we are scared of
It's the things that cannot be seen
The unknown
We are social animals and must know everything
But the dead if the night is the only place where it is okay to be free
Were trust is not a necessity
But pure and undisrupted tranquility
That us what occurs in the dead of night
