Putting pen to a page
Can be something that is seen in vain
But it's a silent battle between the writer and the page
The thoughts that are never spoken of
The secrets that leave this body to decay
Slowly dying from the poison being injected into our veins
Thoughts that consume our mind
Drowning in doubt
Anxiety
And suffering of a past life
The battle between the page and the flesh
Just another day of Russian Roulette
Fighting to write the line that can save our life
To pull us from the battle between the unknown and the unspoken
These thoughts on a page are anything but a game
These are a way to find an escape
To hide away the pain
To see if there is anyone else that also feels this way
Continue to fight the thoughts that won't go away
Prosper and become the one to save you from the grave
These thoughts will become your saving grace
