The person in the mirror is who you really are
Not the people that are on the movie screens
Or those social media wanna be's
Perfect in not a life that is only what is shown on a screen
But the ones that are lived exclusively
The scars that are hidden underneath the mask
Are the scars that tell the world who you are
The marks that litter the body are story
A story of courage to be who you are no matter who is conspiring against you
Strength that has been built up within you to help yourself reach the dreams others say you would never be able to complete
Perfection is a reflection that can shatter under pressure
It will never last longer than a second
Imperfections are fragments that are being put together
Do not try to live up to the standards of society
But to be a person that pushes the boundaries
To make others see what can be complete when you are the black sheep
Imperfection is the beauty of life
Being imperfectly perfect is who you are meant to be
