Arylie os- Jealousy

Hey guys..so this is a request and it is not about Aryan or Imlie's jealousy but the jealousy of other female interns and female employees of Bhaskar times.

Jealousy is defined as feeling or showing envious resentment to someone. Most of the people at Bhaskar times won't say this..but they are jealous of Imlie, especially girls.

It wasn't because of her beauty for them she was a simpleton from a village trying to be a journalist but it was the way they thought she had wrapped Aryan Singh Rathore around her fingers..

They would gossip the same topic every single day,

G1- Just see..everytime only her articles are published in the front page??

G2- Aur nahi toh kya?? Even Aditya sir's articles are not published daily.

The jealousy skyrocketed whenever Aryan would take a stand for her, when Aditya would harass Imlie..or when she was always chosen for any exclusive interview.

One of the girls named Payal was so fed up with favoritism that she spoke out one day after Aryan again handed the assignment to Imlie,

P- Excuse me sir!! But why always Imlie is selected for every exclusive interview..We are also here to learn..hume bhi toh chance milna chaiye??

Adi- Finally kisi ne toh question kiya aapki so called dosti ko..

Ar- Miss Payal..what is the time right now??

P- 2PM sir..

Ar- Aur you had been told to submit your assignment by 10 am today?? Where is it??

P- Sir.. I am still writing it..but here the topic of discussion is something else.

Ar- It is isnt it? Lekin agar aapko lagta hain ki I am being partial toh kal aap bhi Imlie ke saath interview lene jayengi..let's see kis ko jayada interesting material milta hain..and I will personally make sure to publish it on the front page.

Payal was too excited, the next day both of them went to take interview of a household maid who struggled hard to make sure her daughter was educated and she had topped the UPSC exam.

Payal was uncomfortable walking around a chawl, she nudged Imlie and said,

P- Tum toh bikul ghar jaise feel kar rahi hogi na..

Im- Han..bikul. They had reached the house, and the women was cooking food for her family.

Im- Jai Sita Maiya ki Kaki..hum woh kal baat kiya tha interview lene ka..

W- Aare haan aao..beta..please sit..she waved towards the bed..

P- Eww no..mein nahi ..I will stand.

The whole time Imlie was trying to take interview and making sure she was comfortable..while Payal kept saying that she should talk in English..so that's easy to write,

W- Beta I have to go..kaam ka waqt ho gaya hain..

Im- Haan Kaki aap jaye..thank you for this..

She smiled and both of them left the house. Payal shouted at her as soon they left the house,

P- Kyun kiya tumne aise..woh bas Hindi mein bolti rahi..and I couldn't write a single thing..

Im- Payal..unko sirf Hindi mein bolna aata hain..and unko English mein bolne mein uncomfortable feel ho raha tha..

Im- Journalism mein hamesha we have to make to make sure that other person is comfortable telling the reporter everything.

P- Oh please..tumhe bas mujhe neecha dikhna tha..taaki tum apne Aryan ke samne shine kar sake..

Im- Tumhe jo sochna hain soch lo..

They went away to office straight, Payal was grumbling the whole day, whereas Imlie had been up all night to write the article in both Hindi and English.

The next day Aryan had called both of them to his cabin, and before he could speak Payal started talking,

P- Sir..you gave this assignment deliberately to me..meri Hindi aachi nahi..yet ..

Ar- I didn't do this..you wanted this didn't you..and itna rona dhona se aacha hain ki you see this.

He showed the articles written by Imlie in both Hindi and English..she was actually surprised that she had written it so brilliantly,

Ar- Imlie bhi aache se English nahi bolti hain..but still she tries..same way if you would have done this..you too would have written the article by now.

Ar- I don't favor Imlie..I give her opportunities and woh usme successful hoti hain..you both may leave now..

Imlie felt proud that once again her boss babu had appreciated her work, and even Payal had apologized for her behavior, she would have to work more hard from now on to match Imlie's calibre..
