Casey's Pov
It was Monday the worst day of the week and I have work unfortunately.
Before I go to work I go and get coffee at this cafe around the corner, I walked in and ordered 5 coffees for the rest of my work.
I payed and walked out. When I got in the car I drove to work .
After work
When I got home it was around 7 and was getting dark.
I called Dillon and Emily and asked if they wanted to come over for dinner and they accepted of course.
I made lasagna and garlic bread with salad. This was Emily's favorite. When I set the table there were knocks at the door.
"Casey open up we want food." they chanted.
"Hey guys its almost done." I said laughing.
"So how was work?" they asked sitting down.
"Good, did you guys have a good day?" I asked
"Yep." they both answered.
"So who is moving in across the street?" Emily asked.
"Moving in?" I said poking my head out the window
"Yeah." she said
"I don't know." I answered passing out food.
"Hannah this is amazing." Dillon said with his mouth full.
"Im glad you like it." I said
After dinner we cleaned up the mess and went out on the back porch and talked.
"Do you guys want some ice cream?" I asked with a smile on my face
"Yes!" they both answered in unison.
I went in side and grabbed some bowls and spoons.
Dillon's Pov
"Emily I think I know who is moving in over there." I said trailing off.
"Who?" She screamed
"Shoo." I put my finger over my mouth.
"Sorry jeez, so who is it." She said quietly.
"C..Cc." He stuttered.
"Spit it out man." she yelled
"Conner." I whispered
"What?" She said with a tear rolling down her face.
"Im not sure but I know he is moving to Indiana for work and staying for good." I said
"This is amazing." she said wiping the tear away.
"Don't tell Casey let her find out on her own." I said.
We sat in silence till Casey came back out. After we ate our ice cream we went inside and watched a movie.
When it ended I drove Emily home and then went back to my house and went to bed.
I hope Conner finds her like he promised Casey.
I went to bed thinking about what will happen with them wishing the best for Casey and Comner.
