It was some morning that I happened to look over and see the calendar to see that it was that time of year again. Prank war day. Our groups favorite day of the year. I've always won, they were skeptical about me playing at first because none of them wanted me getting hurt, but eventually they ended up letting me after I proved myself that I'd be ok, surprising them by winning the first time that I played.
For our little group it's like a code red, we wait for this day of the year every year. We drop anything we're doing and take the day to figure out who will be the king or queen of that year of that event. But since I decided this year that I didn't want any part of it and Ken is usually the other last one pranked, after picking off the other boys one by one or in Logan's case accidently pranking himself.
Ken tries to take me out last so that he doesn't hurt me of any kind. That when its down to just us two we decided since we really didn't want any of that happing so it then becomes an obstacle course kind of race last one pranks wins that the other guys try and shoot things at us like pies or pudding or paintballs or T.P. anything that won't damage us too much, the goal is not to cause harm on any one of us.
And like the rules state as of when we were in middle school, and I started playing the year after that. If you are pranked you are out, if you win you get the crown. And no girls.... *unless you prove yourself first* I proved myself I'm a loophole. The crown now sits on my bedside will it hope to stay. But if they don't have me to worry about then they'll think they're out of the clear, except for each other.
Katie said that this year she was playing. But this wasn't just a game it was a competition, and according to Ken if he let Katie play and she got hurt that mom would kill him. But to Katie this wasn't over. Farrah? Where are you? My brother asked me. I'm here (outfit 37)Here's the crown, have fun see ya later. I say opening the door to see Jack on the other side. Hey. Hi.
Whoa, whoa, whoa!! The guys called rushing over to the door and closing it once Jack is inside. What?! Ken asked me. Oh yeah, this year, I don't want to be involved. What why not?! Cause you guys are really violent and relentless with your pranks, I'm worried as it progresses I'll end up getting hurt. I say with a pout and big puppy dog eyes.
Ok, fine but it won't be the same without you. We won't have as much fun without you. Trust me you don't want me to play. Well what are you guys gonna do instead? I've set up a hotel treasure hunt for us. It's fun and safe. And we get to do it together. Ok, well I guess we'll split up and spread out, and we'll see you around probably. But as they do a bunch of the girls show up thinking that what they meant by that was that they thought that girls weren't as strong as boys.
At RR Kelly was worried that the guys weren't picking up their cell phones and were late. And not even me, and I'm always early or on time. But Gustavo told her that he gave us the day of for pranking, that its a rite of passage for a young male or something like that, and as long as Gustavo would still prove useful she'd love to hear that story but they had a lot of work to do that day.
Logan thought that this year he'd get the guys when they came in for smoothies and then something about a lot of science. And then got stuff burning in his eyes after pranking himself and mom went to go take him to Dr. in the hotel. Are we really going on a treasure hunt? I watched silently as they left the room. No, I told him, I made them think that so that they would help me prank themselves and each other.
What are those chairs set up for in your room? They're my own kind of "prank" for my brothers. What do they do? You wanna know? Yes. You really wanna know? I ask him lifting an eyebrow with coy in my voice and a sly smile. I'm not so sure anymore. He questions with a scared look. Good. I'd hate to put you in one of them. And you better hope that I won't have to. Or you might hate me forever afterwards. I pout.
I'd never hate you he says rolling his eyes. You might have taken that back if you were in them. I'm gonna text Katie so that if any of the boys find out that they're here and try to tell each other that they can't message each other that all their phones will be temp disconnected. What about Logan he's at the Drs.? I sense that this is probably your prank for the boys. Whatever it is.
Anything goes in a prank war. Me: Katie? Her: Yeah? Me: Where are you right now? Her: Sneaking around trying to prank the boys since its now boys vs girls. Why? Me: Perfect! You know that new app you made? Her: The one that can disconnect any number of phones I want? Me: Yes! Can you do me a big favor?! Her: IDK what you need but IDC why, sure. Who's my target? Me: The guys. Her: Cool, just give me one sec and.... Done. Me: Thanks little sister. I owe you one. Her: Just buy my ticket and our snacks next time us sisters go to the movies and your debt will be paid. Me: Cool thanks.
So, how's that prank war going? Jack, we're a team in this right? Of course, I know your secret I'm helping you, we're gonna go on that "treasure hunt" together. Why are you all jumpy now? Cause I'm worried you're gonna turn on me after you find out what's going on with the prank war. It's boys vs girls now isn't it? Don't worry I'd never turn on you even to try and prank you, mostly if not mainly or entirely because I don't want to give you a reason to put me in one of those chairs.
And I don't want to have to do that either, or to build and install another one of them, they were hard to make in the first place. Normally I probably would've made them stuck in the chair and activated once they lost however that would leave Logan there all day and Ken there the shortest, and that's not exactly fair. Not even I'm that cruel. They do it to me all the time, I just happened to take it up a notch to get my revenge on them all at once. How did you bring them to L.A.? They're collapsible, its a difficult process but they are.
I'm getting the sense that you don't even want to tell me what IT is. You said you didn't want to know. And I have no need to test it on you. Until you have or want the need to be treated like the rest of my brothers even though you're my boyfriend that it would be like you're part of the family since you're our honorary member of our band anyways. But not all those guys are really your brothers. They might as well be I do love them all like my brother, like they're a part of the family.
Now, let's go set things up and turn thing upside down, now that no one knows what we're up to when or how and they can't even communicate with each other. Now that it was boys vs girls it wasn't very equal in team, that on the guys it was 10 girls vs really down to 3 of the guys, but then they had a couple more recruited and ended up with 9. But 3 went down right away once their shoes were all tied together, and they were out.
My brother and the guys decided they wouldn't try and prank each other till the others were gone. That they were taking out the girls first and then the other couple of guys, until it was jus them 4 until they saw mom and Logan waling by on the way to the Dr. Ok 3 now that Logan pranked himself again. Once at the inside hotel Dr. office Logan got his eyesight back and then was asked to be his assistant the rest of the day to help him.
And boy were they all gonna need it. At RR Gustavo and Kelly were having their own mini prank war, beginning with Gustavo putting a lot of sugar packets in the cupboards for them all to come crashing down on her, now to Gustavo asking for his signing contracts pen so that he could sign a bunch of contracts before Griffin came over and then getting a face full of ink.
And then Griffin came and decided that they needed to earn mutual respect for each other and each others jobs by switching their roles. This was gonna be fun. At Palmwood's where the real prank war was really happening the guys had tricked a bunch of the girls with free lip balm samples which were really glue sticks and since I guess Bitters was playing too he was now pranked as well.
And then somewhere in the middle ended up with a guitar on his head. And then the girls that were left were setting up a trap for the guys and make them lose, and make them the winners, but the guys got lucky when Gustavo showed up and said he was Kelly and that it was a long story and that we needed to go to the studio. Where are Jack and Farrah? We need them too.
Gustavo ended up getting pranked instead of the boys as he was now covered in pie, and they thanked him for their day off for prank war day. They'd have to go figure out where Logan was and pick him up too, but where Logan was the Dr. was telling him that he wanted him to stay and be a Dr. with him, and it was always Logan's dream to be a Dr. but he was in a band. And we needed him.
But instead of seeming to be going anywhere they were staying and decided that it was just 6 girls left and 5 of them and then it was just them + Jett. Until Jett would get pranked the guys agreed that they were too big of a target together and needed to split up but then when it was all over prank each other like men. Gustavo came back empty handed and Kelly was working on a song, and the other guys had been pranked now too, and Ken warned the girls that it would've gotten ugly.
There was an incident with a purple stain and some jam latter on, and while all this prank war stuff was happening we were really more or less spying on them I was gonna originally help them prank each other but it looks like they didn't need my help there. And not to mention that the girls were doing very well for their first time I applaud them. Looks like they're all having fun and we'll just keep doing what we're doing.
I'll win that crown again. At RR after all this whole thing, after some time and some not so evil, evil laughter Griffin admitted that there was no role reversal method and they had been pranked and then asked for some sugar which was still packed away in the above cabinet. Meanwhile Logan had been having the best day of his life and the Dr. wanted him to leave the band and stay his Drs. assistant and that he wanted Logan to decide what mattered most to him the band or living his dream.
Now it was down to Katie and Ken but Jack and I weren't finished just yet. They were in the ultimate prank war off something about making a big mess and having to stay clean, and Katie had proved herself that she could take it, and play again next year when this one was all over. But Bitters came back and decided if they made any more of a mess that he would shut the pool down for two weeks, and wanted to end this prank war.
But Ken still ended up winning. Mom had made popsicles with Logan and had cured all the patients but was worried about having to decide between the two things he loved most but mom told him that he didn't have too because he's still just a teenager. When the guys got back to celebrate and the girls decided they would beat the guys next time. But once the guys came in.... Where exactly is the crown?
Oh yeah I think Farrah was using it as their treasure hunting treasure. Me: That's where you're wrong Ken ;) Him: Where are you? What are you talking about? Me: I'm in my room waiting, with the crown come get it if you dare, but I should probably tell you its not the crown that was my treasure.... At the push of a button the guys got stuck to the ground, and couldn't move as they were all blindfolded and caught up in a net. You guys are.
Guys I have a very bad feeling that this prank isn't over until Farrah says it is. What makes you say that? Carlos and James asked him. Uh guys logical reason Logan pointed out.... We're trapped in a net our feet were stuck to the ground, and we've been blind folded. And we weren't in commutation with each other all day via phone if we tried to, which means Katie helped her, and now we're being pranked by the queen.
I used one of my drones to fly them into my room as Jack closed and locked the door. And since the door is now closed and locked I have to believe that we're probably in the last place we want to be. Oh dear twin brother of mine you are most correct. And Jack was my Igor today. He was helping me. Cause he wouldn't dare turn against me, or he'll suffer your same fate. I said turning to him.
Yeah I would've questioned him for not helping us since Katie helped you, but I wouldn't wish what I think is going to happen to us on anyone. Like you guys don't do the same to me?! Or wouldn't had if you had tried to trap me up in my own trap. And I can say that because its never going to happen. Lower them down Jack. You got it. As they were all lowered down into the chairs the metal bars locked into place. I reached over and removed their blind folds.
And pulled out my remote. What's that? It starts and stops the machines, and I keep it in a place no one dares to look and can never go or they suffer the consequences. Hey wait a min little sister this is NOT a prank. Oh dear brother but it is of some kind after all anything goes in a prank war as long as the hopes of others not getting hurt doesn't happen.
And you're all from getting hurt. Not even your lungs will hurt when I'm done with you you'll only be in there for a couple of mins this time. Had I done what I'd originally had planned and had Logan not gotten hurt by his own prank for you guys he would've been there first, and Ken would've had the shortest amount of time and I decided that was very fair. But all is fair in love and war. This war isn't over till I say its over.
I push the button and activate the chairs. Don't worry you'll only be in there for 10 mins. You haven't done anything to deserve a longer time this time. Unlike last time when this happened. And we are sorry for that but you got us back and after we had a great time. Yeah we did. We should have another day like that real soon. Sounds like a plan. But for now its still prank war day. And when I'm done here we'll celebrate with some real popsicles.
See you're in the chairs and still able to speak coherently. It's not so bad now is it? Not this time. Are your lungs sore? No not yet. Good. But, I'm gonna leave the room, and go get a popsicle and then I'm gonna take my little sister to the movies. I leave the room, and put the crown on my head. Hi mom are the popsicles ready?
They sure are my princess of pranks. She hands me one and I come sit down next to Katie. Good game little sister. When we're done do you wanna go to the movies? Sure can't stay no to a free movie with my big sister. Thanks for the help. Anytime. You girls have fun. Need some money? That would be great thanks. Take my credit card. What? It's sisterly bonding and on sisterly bonding days you can use my money to buy whatever you want in reason. Just don't take advantage of it like your brother would.
Where are the boys? Serving my prank. They should be done in about 5 maybe 6 mins. The timer is set they'll be released when its over. I'll go put the crown down in my room again. Be right back. Sure thing. I go into my room, and put the crown down. W-wait. Ken chokes. Hm? We won't get you back. Maybe not today but I know that I will be again, and when it happens I only allow one of you to attack. Just not you Jack. No problem there, I don't want to give you a reason to put me in one.
Oh Jack you won't mean to, but I'm sure it will happen. And boys will make sure of it. Now that you're one of us. Somewhat. Ok, well I'll be going now happy prank war day its officially over. When that timer goes off. Suddenly there' a knock on the door. I open it up a crack. Are you coming or what? Katie asks me. I'm coming. Oh hi Jack you're still here want to join us? Are you sure? Jack that means come on when they get free they'll want to gang up on anyone whose here, and Ken said they wouldn't get me back. Which would leave you. And they'd be sure to make you feel just like family, like you're part of the group.
IDK, I think if and when I decide that, that I'd rather you do the welcoming. All: No you don't. Not unless you wanna be trapped in the machine. But I'm guessing all 4 of your brothers would attack me if the opportunity came. Well I couldn't promise you that, that wouldn't happen, but come with us anyways. Well I guess I'm going.

So, I'm thinking we go get pizza first then go see a movie and then after get ice cream, and I'll take the wheel on this one put that credit card away I'll treat you girls. Jack I can't let you do that. I said shaking my head. I can sweet. Katie? Ok fine. No, no, no come on you won and Katie helped you. And if I treat you girls well the guys won't have a chance to see a reason to get me back at least for tonight.
I won't to do it, so let me. How did I get such an amazing boyfriend? When our siblings got us together out of spite. And when you got homesick. Yeah. Oh no! What's wrong? I just remembered that its Friday. It's ok we're still out seeing movies and when we get back we can pop in a different one once we change and I come back.
Movie night Friday. That sounds like a good plan. It was already a plan. No, I mean like on Friday's on top of us doing our thing watching movies in our pjs that we also go see a movie at the theatre. I like that plan. And the one at the movies doesn't need to just be us it can be as many people as we want. But it will be just us 3 tonight.
BTW, he turns to me as we get into the car.... Hm? He smiles a sheepish smile his cheeks going pink as he runs a hand back behind his head. What's wrong Jack? I'm probably gonna regret telling you this.... But? But, I'm kind of ok with the whole thing my sister used to do it all the time, I've kind of gotten used to it. Oh. I nod with kind of a hidden sly smirk.
You can smile its ok. Why did you tell me that? I figure at some point you're going to anyways that one of the 5 of you or the group of the boys or you would be very welcoming to me when I decide when I'm ready to go all in and be that honorary member of the family, when you all decide that you're gonna treat me like one too. Oh.
I know you probably are wanting to get an answer from me too about the whole thing, but I'm telling you right now that I'm not giving an answer while I've got a sibling in the car with us. You don't mind it really either as long as its on your own terms. Katie corrects. Katie how on Earth do you know that? And do Ken or any of the guys know? I've watched your reactions and some of your hidden body language and no they don't know unless either of them have always suspected which would be why they do tickle you all the time, but I'm not sure after all none of them knew about your singing secret.
That's true. Why did we just go and admit these things? Probably just the matter of that it was all on our minds to start with after what we'd left behind. Katie you can't tell anyone what you're hearing. Duh, you think I want a reason to be trapped in your torture chair? No thank you. See it keeps people from betraying me or doing something I don't them to do, and keeps them in line and on their toes.
Are you sure you want to be a part of that? Because when one of them is in trouble they're all in trouble. My brothers can't stay out of trouble. Yes, I'm sure when the time is right that I want to be a part of all of this. What are you waiting for? For the relationship to go longer and at least have a year in there and everything's died down and not so crazy.
I can work with that. It will be one of my presents for you. In any way that you want. Whether it's a machine or by hand. I do miss doing it by hand, but the machine was so that I could get them back and they can't help each other get me back. One pair is fine, more than one set is when I start getting uncomfortable. If it were just the two of us that would be a different story. And I get the feeling that even if they won't be getting me back aside from the fact that I call them all my brothers anyways all the time, they'll probably question it, and get me to remind them.
Let's not think about that for like the next 4ish hours. Maybe 6ish. Good plan. We did end up doing exactly what we said we'd do, and then we went back to the hotel and he went back to his room to change as I did also. But inside my room. You guys haven't left yet? Oh we had our little snack but we've been thinking and talking. Both of which are never good.

I'm suddenly pushed into the chair. Hey?! Find that stupid remote. You'll never find it. I hid it some place you'll never think to look. It's in the back of your journal isn't it? That would be the first place I knew you all would look. I said last. You all said dared to look earlier. And we wouldn't go anywhere near that journal unless necessary. Tell us or I'll just end up tickling you anyways. Remote or no remote.

It was hiding under the crown. It won't work. We'll see. Hand it over Logan. A please would be nice. Ok, please? That's better. He takes the remote and aims it at the chair. I smile when it doesn't work.
Oh yeah did I forget to tell you that its finger print detected? But also that's not the real remote. How many of these do you have? That one and one more. But they're both print detected. Besides that's just my minimal torture remote it only has 4 settings, the real one is hidden somewhere else and goes all the up to 10, but the most I've ever put on you guys is probably about a 6 maybe an 8. And trust me you don't want to give me a reason to set it to 10.
That's at the point where I don't trust you and you have to earn it back, but the timer is really the kicker as time goes on it feels worse than it really is. Now if you're all done here it's Friday night and Jack will be coming back over any sec now. Knock, knock. All: It's open! He came to my room and knocked at it Ken went and opened the door.
What's going on in here? Has she ever showed you any of her remotes? Just the one. That one's fake. Where's the real one? IDK. Farrah? He's telling the truth I didn't tell him. And I actually don't know either. Sounds like a problem. Nah these chairs are voice modified. I can get out if I really wanted to, but I have no reason to. At least not when the timer isn't set. Anyone can set that.
Good to know, but why are you telling us this? Cause you can't do anything right now anyways. I can't? I don't need the remote to tickle you. Ken prank day is over! I remined him struggling. Chair unlock. And aren't I glad to always have shorts and a tank top on underneath my clothes at all times. When I finish putting my pjs on we can go watch our movie.
But you 4 have to leave. I make them leave and lock the door behind them. I pull out the real remote from the back of my journal. I thought you said you didn't know where it was? I didn't I guess I self consciously ended up putting it where I usually put it I never truly know so that I can't be tickled into giving away its location. Smart.
I grab it and push a button as they fold up sinking into the floor. How? I found a secret trap door in my room. I programed an mini elevator to make it make the chairs go down. Smart. Katie helped me. I shrugged. Now, I say pulling out a new one we can watch our movie now. I say putting the remote back in its place and putting it under my pillow. So, what do you want to watch?
