There we (outfit 65) were practicing our song Superstar. But as they were singing as usual Kelly looked pleased and I thought we sounded great but as per usual Gustavo did not. He hit a switch and it shocked the boys but not me as I jumped back just as confused as the others were. And slightly emotionally hurt via twin powers. That and also being an empath so it hurt me to see them getting hurt. What was that? James asked him as we took our headphones off. You were off key! He simply exclaimed. Except for her but it was almost hard to tell because she was the only one in key. We're talking about the shocking floor! He said it was his new system that he was gonna train is like real dogs (and cat) with negative reinforcements. I did not see this going well at all. And the reason he was doing this was because he wanted our next album to be better than the first. And then we all complained it wasn't fair. Of course I wanted our music to be good and that I wanted us to sound good. But we were fine and shocking my band was I agree not fair.
And then he shocked them all again when we complained about it. He didn't like that we were "back talking" him. Even though all we did was complain that what he was doing was not fair. And like usual Griffin was on his back about whatever it is we were supposed to be doing and then his silver friend. And that with his "new friend" we would get there. And even Kelly wasn't even helping us because although usually she objects to this kind of abuse but we really need that song fast. But just because they needed results doesn't mean they should above us or rather them. Look we know the album is important. I start. I know that better than anyone I wrote the songs for it. And I practice the vocals non stop in any free time I have when I'm not doing other things. But there's really no need to cause harm in order to motivate any of us. And we all know we have to work our butts off. The others begin to agree with me. So try trusting us instead of shocking us. The rest finished for me. But he didn't like that either. Hm let me think about it.... And then he shocked them yet again.
When it came to the dancing he was upset about the rhythm. And again they got shocked. They even had shocking in the bathrooms when he got upset about them using too much bathroom time and shocked them again. And when they were all relaxed on the couch he told them no breaks and up they went. And the worst part of it was is that it was just level one. Push that button one more time Kendall started and bottom was we would agree to go on strike each of us. Right Farrah? I told you we know how important this new album was but that I agreed with the boys even though he wasn't hurting me and no one was gonna let him do that and he liked me. But I agree with the boys. This is totally uncalled for. There are better ways of motivating us. And they don't require pain. That's it! BTR is going on strike! We announced after he zapped them again. And when we got back 2J they were all excited but had no idea how to strike so they turned to Logan while I turned to my own friends and the first call to Jack of the day. And keep him in the loop like I promised I would. He said first they picked a negotiator and they elected Kendall to do that part.
What why? Why not Farrah? Because I don't think your sister is gonna be much help. Sure she'll strike with us but she's worked so hard on these songs for the album and she does practice when she's not doing her other stuff mostly involving saving our butts. Fine but I'm gonna need some mussel someone to scare Gustavo with if plans stall. And he said that somebody was Carlos. James was very offended since he was the strongest but Carlos can be pretty unpredictable. And he took on the entire 8th grade when we were all in middle school. Which was very impressive so that left James and Logan to the strike stuff. And what about me? I asked them. You can relax and make a plan b should anything fail and you once again save our butts. My brother pointed out. Fine I'll be in my room. Come get me when you're ready to strike stuff if you want me around for that and yes I'll be ready doing a plan b. Which is kind of relaxing in it itself.
And then Katie came in and asked what we were doing and they all in perfect sync told her we were sticking it to the man. Hey I wanna help stick it to the man. She said. Well maybe you can help Farrah here. We're gonna need provisions. You can bring us food water and supplies to the front line when we need it. Kendall told her. Almost as if this was like war. So what do we want? Kendall asked them as he wrote down a list. Most of it was on the shock upgrades. And then they wanted half an hour breaks per day. And above all they wanted more respect. And then he agreed with what I said when G&K asked me about going on strike when they first started this shock thing. That's it? Katie asked. I thought you were sticking it to the man?! She asked again. She told them they held all the cards. Go on they all said in sync. And this is where I came in. Gustavo needs songs. And Farrah wrote the songs for BTR. Granted they're probably all legally his now because he owns BTR and she made them for BTR but maybe that can fit in somehow.
