Today (outfit 49) we were all in the studio watching these two guys that weren't Gustavo trying to write our next hit song. And IDK why because I write all our songs and Gustavo turns them into songs but he just approves of pretty much everything I do. And these guys may have been worse than Gustavo because there were two of them and they were fighting. Thinking that the best way to make a song was by fighting even though it wasn't. And Gustavo was not thrilled about this idea either and Griffin reminded him that bands use different song writers all the time.
And Griffin was there and he wanted to release a deluxe something or other for our album. And he wanted our bonus track to have a brand new sound. Minus the fact that Griffin also approved of everything I do as well. According to Griffin these guys were the hottest new song writers. What's wrong with my songs? I ask him. Nothing I just thought I'd try something different for the bonus songs.
Why? Because different is good. But Gustavo usually writes all the songs until I came along and I happened to give him my lyrics and he helped me turn them into songs but they belong to me because I wrote them. So, we already have something different. And her different I like. Gustavo praises. This different I don't like I'm not involved! And we watched as they destroyed the studio fighting and then came into the part we were watching them from and we all ran away.
And the people from the hospital had to come and take them away and when Kelly said fighting was not a great way to write a song Griffin insisted that it was. With all due respect I have never fought anyone or anything when I write my songs and they're great. I said to Griffin. Wrong! He corrected me. Tell me Farrah how did you come up with any kind of guy? He asked me and I don't mean with the romantic part of it.
I mean the words because the tune you got from your photographer boyfriend and because of that your magazine that came out on your birthday was marvelous and it brought in a lot of money when everyone ended up buying a copy. But I mean the words. My brother and our friends were fighting over a girl. See there it is he pointed out, fighting helped you write the song and it's a great song.
I'm sure not all of them are true for the rest that's just one example. What about Counting on you? That wasn't a fight we just had a bad luck day and got trapped in a well. And Till I forget about you? That was my brother's song when his girlfriend tried to break up with him over his jealously over Jett. My point still stands. Griffin told us. Those are all great songs and they all came to be over something bad happening. Didn't they?
Or your song Big Night during our Halloween special when you were briefly all monsters and everything went all kinds of wrong with James being chased by a vampire slayer and your brother hiding his werewolf from Jo or Carlos who couldn't speak English and Logan who kept being torn apart and chewed on by a dog? That was great song but all of those things had to happen first didn't they?
Or for the winter songs you somehow made ahead of time while you had the flu? You were sick and still got me 3 good hit songs in time for Christmas. Or how about Cover girl or Invisible? How did the inspiration for those songs come to be? Uh.... I rubbed my arm looking at the ground. Again my point still stands. Bad things happen and they make good songs. Fighting makes good songs.
Now I want you he says to Kelly to go make sure that they're ok and by ok I mean they won't sue. And you I need a new song writer that can write a hit song and take a punch and I need them now. Eh hem? I ask him. I have nearly 4 brothers who always rough house and I make you great songs all the time. Then Griffin leaves and the boys want another go at writing another hit song.
But to Gustavo that was a bad idea. And that they needed to be ready to sit in silence for hours and stare into the sun to find a great hook. You can write it with us. Carlos suggested or even Farrah she and Jack can help he's helped before he came up with the tune for Any Kind of Guy. And inspires other songs in my sister. My brother reminded him. Honestly I see no need to have another new song writer Farrah and you make a great team on that part.
You and your lyrics Ken says to me putting his hands on my shoulders and Gustavo and the rest of the song. And we've written songs before we did for Farrah when the first two magazines came out. Right, how did you guys get the inspiration for those? I asked him. Are you kidding? We had to look at the magazine and read through them. And I kind of sorta snuck into your room while you were sleeping to go in and calm you down and didn't know you were sleeping until I went in and the magazine was under your pillow.
Thanks but you have to say that your my brother(s) we've known each other I gesture to the other guys.... Since as long as I can remember. But I'm your boyfriend. Jack tells me. Then you're the only one. I shake my head shrugging my shoulders. The truth doesn't always hurt I remind myself. They say sticks and stones can break your bones but words can never hurt you but physical wounds heal and emotional wounds are worse because they take more time to heal and then there's still scars there to remind you.
Your friends would agree with you. My brother reminds me. Well my friends look exactly like me and they think the same thing about themselves and their siblings try to tell them the same thing too. But you probably think your otherwise clones are beautiful. Right? Carlos asks me. And if they look just like you then you would be calling yourself beautiful too. Logan countered. Nice try I pat his shoulder. Won't work on me. Farrah when we first started I don't tell just anyone that their more beautiful and more talented than myself. James said doing his weirdo jazz hand thing in front of his face.
Forget it! I swipe my hands. You're not gonna change my mind. And that was before after that happened. Before you came after me when it was pouring rain and I still have the scars to prove it. Griffin is right bad things have to happen before anything good can come out of it. And just like he said Invisible and Cover Girl are perfect examples. And when the guys got scared away after Gustavo barked at them he made me stay. Go Jack go with them I gestured out the door. If that's what you want, he tries to smile at me but I can tell its forced as he leans in to kiss my cheek.
I might be a lone song writing wolf but we can be lone song writing wolves together. Gustavo told me. That's the one thing I agree with them on we make a pretty good song writing team. I nod. Yeah, and you shouldn't beat yourself up. Now come on we've got work to do. Jack followed Kendall and the guys back to the Palm Woods while they were talking about how they could relax and Gustavo and I would be working in the studio.
What if it was the other way around Kendall told them. I smell a plan James says as everyone stops to listen in on his plan. All of our plans are pure genius. Carlos says. Not all our plans. Logan says as they think back on putting TNT in the pool before making things explode. The plan was to make one giant hot tub but that was a disaster.
The plan is to get make Gustavo and Farrah take the day off and relax. She's done it before. Made a great song by relaxing. And we go to the studio and write the song. Ok, one problem with that but how do we get the lone wolves out of the studio? Logan asked. Me: Katie at studio keep an eye on the boys and fill me in on what they're up to. And I'll take you to go see a movie when everything is all said and done. Katie: Sweet have Jack come too I love that self driving car and he buys us stuff even after mom gives us her money for sibling bonding. Heading down to the lobby now.
When they see Katie they tell her their plan. Since they've done it before even if she and mom didn't know it. He's going to kill you and if one of you messes up you won't just be at Gustavo's mercy you'll be at the mercy of Farrah's too. Now tell me whose worse? She crosses her arms. N-not if they're relaxing at the Palm Woods new health spa. You're gonna trick Farrah and get her to not work on a new song while you guys mess up? Yeah good luck with that one.
And you're gonna run it. They tell Katie. I want 20% of the song publishing. But they had no idea what that was so she told them to say yes so they did. And she was happy. They moved out and she went outside and imminently texted me back. Katie: They want to write the song and they're gonna give me 20% of the songs publishing. Me: Ha good luck with that one. I'll give you double that for sharing all the info with me on what's going on and play along with whatever it is they're up to that they're gonna trick me into and keep Jack out of it and they won't be at my mercy for this one.
Katie: Deal big sister. And the movie shopping trip? Me: Yes, and ok fine we can go shopping :/ Katie: And bring Jack with us? :) Me: Sounds good to me ;) <3 Love you little sister. Katie: Love you too big sister <3 Me: We make a good team! Katie: Yeah we do. She gets help from Cam, and Buda Bob.
And at the studio I have my laptop and headphones on with my notebooks and writing supplies and my phone next to me with deleted messages from Katie and I's convo. As Gustavo yells at the boys that he doesn't want them to write the new song. And behind him was a dart board with words on it that would help him help us work on the new song. And said we'd have it done by the end of the day.
I am learning so many things about song writing James says as Logan writes everything down including what I'm doing. He said having the dogs there stressing him out was bad for song writing and then Carlos and Logan were all like then you need to relax at the Palm Woods new spa. Yeah and why would we want to do that? I ask taking my headphones off. I really don't like spas. While they try to convince Gustavo he agrees that relaxing and clearing your mind is good for song writing.
Seeing as Gustavo was going to take the bait I put everything into my backpack and took it all with me. I didn't see Jack so I was guessing he was helping Katie. I love you my brother told me but right now you should go relax and clear your mind I'll take this and hope it will give us some real good inspiration. Nice try everything on here is password protected. I don't go anywhere without my stuff. Want me to relax? This comes with me.
Please? You can keep your phone and we'll update you on the progress. We'll do anything you want. You don't want to promise me that. Trust me. And keep Jack out of it. Fine, fine. Just keep this with us Kendall says sliding the bag off of my back and into his arms. And you take this and your headphones. He says giving me my stuff back. And go back to the Palm Woods. Fine but call me if you have any problems. I promise. He pushes me out the door. And if anything is broken.... We're in trouble we know.
Once we were gone they tried the throwing darts method. And it didn't go well at all. The darts landed on hate and baby. Well that method isn't working. What else did Gustavo say about song writing? Ken asked looking over Logan's notes. He said stare into the sun to find the killer hook. Well they went and did that and it didn't work out very well.
When Gustavo and I went back to the Palm Woods and saw Cam, Bob and Katie, and Jack.... Jack looked uneasy as I lifted an eyebrow. And Gustavo thought it was a scam. And Katie told him it wasn't a scam then winked at me because she was on my side. Don't worry Katie's on my side and you had nothing to do with this so if this plan fails you won't get in trouble I think that's going to be my new rule.
Those that don't get in trouble don't get in trouble. But you made one for all 5 of us. And I knew that when I submitted myself. Why would I put you through so much trouble? You never give me a reason to and I think I'd rather torture you by hand instead of machine. See the machines were made because if I tried to gang on one of them they had 3 more to help each other against me and that wasn't fair. I pouted with big puppy dog eyes.
And there's only one of each of us if it was just the two of us. And it wouldn't go on for long periods of time or a higher setting. And you would never team up against me to help them. Now would you? I ask him getting closer to him with a slightly evil look on my face with the façade of innocence. I'd pulled him away from the group while they had convinced or tried to convince Gustavo that this was going to be the real deal.
Of course not he reached down to intertwine our fingers. If it was one on one we'd just be play fighting but I'd never ever turn on you or give you a reason to actually put me in a chair even though I knew what I signed up for when I became a part of the group you know more or less. Jack Taylor you are the bravest person I know. I said kissing him. While they play spa we can play hairstylist instead. After all you're hair is so soft and you love when people play with your hair. He says running his fingers through it.
I close my eyes and hum a happy humming noise. I feel relaxed already. But if nothing else I'd like to take my chances in keeping you from beating yourself up all the time. That I do agree with the boys. And I would do what I could to make sure you didn't do it again, but not right now that doesn't sound very relaxing even if it would be music to my ears. Ah I see we think the same way. I much prefer others doing that "singing" over myself though.
And oh when this is done Katie gets double the percent of what she told them she wanted by helping them help us but I warned her to tell me and if she's getting 20% I told her I'd double her to 40% and I can offer you the same deal and I promised her a movie and she wants you to join us said she likes the self driving car and when you buy things for us. What better way to pamper my princess? He smiles leaning over to kiss my cheek. And it's always a double win to keep the rest of the family happy with the boyfriend. Like the sister.
She's going to take advantage of you. I giggle. Hm music to my ears. I don't seem to particularly mind being taken advantage off as long as it keeps you happy. You are the biggest flirt I've ever met. I push lightly on his chest. How do you think I got with you? He wiggles his eyebrows. We were friends first and you were consistent. You've seen me at my worst and at my best we might as well be married at this point. So you have seen my dreams. And one of them has already come true. You're already my girlfriend I dreamed of that before it happened.
Katie told Gustavo about how she started this project to save money for college and said something about celebrity and famous and great like him as she played into his ego hoping it would work. She said she even hired the real life spa lady and everything. I covered my mouth from laughing when I saw Camille I love her she's a great method actress. What the heck I do need to get my song writing juices flowing. Then they kidnapped him and took him away after he agreed. Shall we? Jack gave me his arm as we left after them.
At the studio a clock was ticking in rhythm the studio was a mess and they had nothing for the song yet. But when Ken stopped the ticking Carlos told them they should just dive into it to stop thinking and just make music. But when they decided he was right they went into another room with the instruments and played all at once. Good thing I had my phone hooked up to my camera and with a little hacking help with Katie I could spy on them from Ken's phone too. Everything would be transferred to me and deleted from the other devices and the guys would only be left to believe when it was all over that I'd watched them from my computer.
And now they were playing foo's ball because Gustavo had also told them clearing your mind and relaxing was good for song writing. And then they got competitive. Carlos singing the letter/word oh and Ken decided they liked that. And James said he was gonna come up with a song title too but they didn't have a min they had to make the song before we got back. And they called Katie to tell her how much they loved her and needed another hour because they were on to something.
While Gustavo got his head shined and buffed I'd told Jack to just surprise me and mom wouldn't care really because it was my hair and I could do with it what I wanted with it and I'd told her what was going on anyways and she was on board. As I sat back and relaxed to my boyfriend doing whatever he pleased with my hair while I listened to and watched the boys on my phone from my computer I only hooked it up to Ken's phone just in case they left the studio and they weren't gonna bring my stuff with them.
But when Cam got down with his nails Gustavo was relaxed and wanted to come back to the studio and I could stay there all day and Katie had to stall him for another hour. Then they told him it would grow hair and he thought about it some more while Jack and I gave them a questioning look. How do you know how to do this? You can learn anything online and my sister has had roles where she needed to be a hair stylist and needed a practice dummy. She taught me how to do things and I learned the rest online. And when my sister wasn't practicing on me Cam does. Because I'd do anything for my friends.
Smooth. I nodded at him. I like to think so myself. Now relax, it will be over soon. You know you have another hour now right? At the least until they need more time. Please take all the time you need. I could spend all day doing this. So, they got Gustavo in the seat and put stuff on his head. And in the studio they were at it again. I must say I'm impressed so far it hasn't gotten as bad as I thought it would go. And they were doing exactly as Gustavo said and what Griffin wanted more or less.
So now they had Kendall and Carlos with Oh song and James and Logan with the Yeah song and they couldn't agree on anything. James said Carlos always sided with Kendall and then they asked Logan which song was better and he said he didn't want to get in the middle of this and then Carlos said that of course this would happen because Logan can never make a decision.
And once Logan sided with James they started fighting. And then Kendall reminded them that Kelly said that fighting didn't solve anything. But then Logan pulled out his notes and reminded them the examples where things went bad that helped me right my songs. And some time after that the whole studio was a mess because of their fighting. And I was trying to decide between laughing and groaning. What's wrong? Am I pulling to hard your head does have a sensitive scalp.
No I shake my head, you're doing great it's not you it's them. I face palm. IDK whether or laugh or groan. I'd rather you laugh because you moaning makes it sound like you're upset or sick or tired. And you laughing is a much happier sound. When it was over the furniture was upside down and thrown everywhere the instruments were a disaster and the posters of past bands and the wall was destroyed.
They had turned RR into a battle war zone and wanted to record their separate songs. The Oh people would get studio B and the Yeah people would get studio A. But now they needed more time to write their songs and called Katie back. And now they needed another hour and that Kendall talked mom out of naming Katie Apple. And when Gustavo saw his hair and saw it had grass Bob told Gustavo they were writing a song. And I face palmed.
And he ran off with the garden trimmers with him and ran away. And they chased Gustavo back to their "spa" after threatening him with their own garden supplies. In studio B Ken said they needed more words than oh and that Gustavo told them that silence was also good for song writing. But Carlos was making too much noise and then after holding his breath he breathed good song lyrics. And since I was spying on them both I heard the song titles and had decided to mash them together and heard Carlos sing the words and wrote them down.
And since Logan and James had nothing James decided he needed to learn more words for the song by using his skills by charming the ladies because words worked so much better for him when he was talking to girls. And then James dressed Logan up like a girl and started singing and I wrote down those lyrics too to add to the one song. And to be honest they sound better when they're together James kind of sounded pitchy. Pitchy but not bad. They just sound better together.
As Gustavo was running away Katie said something about a neck adjustment and then Cam came down as a ninja and karate chopped Gustavo and made him pass out. And now they needed something to make him stay put for a while. And now that Carlos and Ken had their lyrics they just needed to record the song. And Logan and James had hired people to help them record their song. And wanted the song done before he got back.
Because they had tricked them into doing it because "Gustavo said so." And they would be paid a big bonus and so they got tuned up and worked with the instruments. But in order to get the band with the Oh people instead of the Yeah people they staged a full on attack into their part of the studio. Meanwhile the 3 others got Gustavo stuck in a mud bath.
And by that they meant instant drying cement. But it couldn't hold all of Gustavo's rage and it was ok because she said she had totally earned her 20% and I would double that and add 10 more for all the trouble the boys caused her so really she would be getting half. Gustavo scared everyone away because he looked like a monster and the 3 of them split up.
At the same time in the "spa" Jack was finishing up. And at RR Kelly came back. And she saw the band the guys had hired to help them and the place a complete disaster and saw BTR fighting. She had the other band cover their ears as she blasted feed back noise at the guys to make them stop. And then she asked them what they were doing and told her everything that had happened. And then I texted her what I had done saving the day song wise once again.
They just needed a full song now. And since it was still my song now because I had it together Katie would get her 50% because I said so. And like usual the guys were my inspiration and once again I had been relaxed while writing the song and saving their butts and had not even been there yet again. And she reminded them that writing a song while fighting was the worst way to write a song and she then them what I had done after the guys argued over whose song was better and I sent her my long text of all the words to the combined song.
Which had influenced her biased opinion on the songs they were writing. And instead of screaming at each other it looks like your sister has done it again and saved your butts by making sure she had some kind of eye on you while you helped her write a song by your fighting she already thought of everything and wrote out all the lyrics combined and when she gets back you can sing it together.
We did sound pretty good. Logan agreed. But do you think Gustavo will like it? Carlos asked they heard him before they saw him and he was angry. And I had came with Jack back our way with the new (hair) . Wow Jack that looks amazing. (And how my hair currently looks as of the 6th of Jan 2020 and it's now the 18th) Wait before you kill them and explain what that all is she said with the tin foil hat on her head and drum stick in her hand.... Then turned to me and cooed at my new hair as I then turned and praised Jack. And the guys were happy to hear that they helped me help them and we wrote a song together technically I just put it together and made one song with all the song lyrics after coming clean about keeping an eye on them.
And when they started he told them it wasn't terrible and happy that I saved the day again. It just needs a little bit of help. Check. I handed him the lyrics for finished for the song. I thought you guys only write alone? James asked us. Let's just say every now and then the lone wolves need their pack he says swinging an arm over my shoulder. And you guys already help me you're always my inspiration I just write the words and help Gustavo do the rest. He turns my lyrics into songs. But they're still mine? She's right.
I love your new hair. He says calming down. All thanks to our photographer. I gesture. You are quite handy. He tells him. Him I don't hate. I'll take it. Then we howled together. And we got working on recoding the song with the band that was playing the instruments.
And Griffin was there and he listened to it and he told us we had a bonus track for our deluxe album. Great song Farrah. Actually this one we did together. I wrapped an arm around my brother. As the guys cheered. And oh yeah I love what you've done with your hair don't let my daughter see it she'll want the same thing done to hers. Sorry I only hairstyle Farrah Knight's hair. Jack said to Griffin chilling in the back with the others watching us.
You did that? Griffin asked. Nice work. Woof! Jack barked. As Griffin lifted an eyebrow at him. I mean thank you sir. I laughed at him barking since Gustavo calls the guys dogs. And when we exited the booth and we're done recording Griffin said he wanted to write a song with Gustavo and Gustavo hoped they could skip the fighting part but Griffin wanted to be thorough. You really did do a great job Jack. And Katie here is your cut.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. We said we'd give her 20% Ken told me. Yeah well I told her to work with you guys and keep me posted and that I'd double her cut. But that looks at least half. You're right. It is because I added 10% because of the extra work she had to do to keep Gustavo away. And it's still technically my song since I put it together and I once again saved your butts and wasn't even here. And unless you want to be all in the chair for messing up so bad until the song was finished be my guest and argue with me about Katie's cut.
And now as promised. Jack is bringing up the car and we can go with him and go shopping and then to any movie you want to see little sister. Which means the rest of you have the afternoon free to do whatever else you want except plot revenge. I'll be watching I'm always watching. You should've let me take my computer with me when you had the chance. Maybe next time you don't want my help you'll take my advice.
Lesson learned? All: Lesson learned. Good I smiled kissing their cheeks and ruffling their hair. See ya later. Let's go Katie. And Jack's paying for everything? She asked. I told her everything he had told me. Sweet she said as we got into the car. Ms. Knight and Ms. Knight. Jack said getting out of the car and holding our door open for us as Katie got into the back and I sat down next to him. Where to ladies. Both: Surprise us. My pleasure. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
