Digging deeper into the legend!

Y/N's POV:

"Guys! They found it!" Sophocles said and I hugged to poke ball before saying "zoroark! Make your grand appearance!" And zoroark came out. I hugged zoroark and tsareena came in for a hug too. "What's in that book? I haven't seen any book like that!" Lillie said pointing at the book shelf. I set it down on a table before opening it, the opening title said "legends of alola." And I coughed before opening it. "Thats tapu-bulu!" Mallow said before Kiawe stated "that's tapu-lele!" "And tapu-fini." Lana said and Sophocles pointed at the book saying "tapu-Koko!" I flipped through when Lillie said "solgaleo and lunala!" Gladion pointed to the next page and said "the ultra beasts..." I was intrigued "why is this book here?" And zoroark growled at the book aggressively, "what does that mean?!?" Mallow said flipping through the book. "Theres entry's on all of them!" Sophocles said and then Kiawe said "who has this much information?!?". I smiled and stated "I don't really know! But all I know is that I think nihilego, xurkitree and kartana looks the coolest!". Gladion crossed his arms and said "your favourites are something that almost killed Lillie, a very dangerous kartana and something that can wipe out alola's power?"

I smiled awkwardly as mallow face palmed "hey! I'm not that bad!" I protested. I laid down still it doubt of that book as the gang talked. I could still here silvally's barks from the other room which was hilarious. "Wanna go Pokémon finding tomorrow?" Lana said as we all nodded, "I can finally use this great ball too!" I said but Sophocles made a statement saying "maybe use that for another thing." I frowned. Me and zoroark were sitting beside each other waiting for the gang to come out of the changing places. I saw a shadow near the window and I looked at it. "Tapu-koko!" A Pokémon called and I immediately saw the Melemele island guardian. My jaw dropped and it looked at me. "Tapu-koko?" I questioned and it nodded, it was using some psychic powers to fly. It touched me and then stole the little hair pin that Lana put on my head "guys! There over here!" Kiawe called and tapu-koko flew off. "Why are you all the way over there?" Sophocles questioned and I was still in so much shock I couldn't answer the question. Without saying anything i went back to the little bed and sat down.

"What happened?" Lillie asked after a few minutes when I re-collected myself. Gladion nodded and I said "I-it was there!" Sophocles looked confused and mallow said "what?!!". I looked at her and said "melemele's island guardian. Tapu-koko." Gladion cocked his head and said "Tapu-koko was there?!?!" I nodded as Lillie grabbed a book and began reading a page "Some say seeing tapu-Koko is regular for the curious guardian but others say it's taken as a sign of interest and luck. If you see this island guardian it will rarely interact but if it does it's taken a liking to you." Lillie closed the book and Kiawe said "tapu-koko likes you!" I was oblivious and said "that means we can be friends!". Gladion face palmed and said "you really don't know how this works do you?". I nodded awkwardly before zoroark nuzzled me in an affectionate way, "your so lucky!" Sophocles said. I caressed the back of my head and I nodded in a confused but eager way. Lillie yawned and i yawned after as we all went to bed. I was eager to go find new Pokémon tomorrow in hopes that zoroark can get some new friends.

We all were ready and we went to the forest to go Pokémon hunting. I walked in the woods when I found a serene lake, "this is filled with water types." Lana said and mallow ran over to greet all the water Pokémon. I heard commotion across the lake and ran over. "A golisopod!" I yelled gesturing for the gang to come over. Kiawe yelled "watch for its poison!" I looked at zoroark and grabbed a poke ball and said "I'm gonna catch it!" Lana face palmed and I attacked it using a series of night slashes before it could react. The golisopod make a screeching noise before using poison jab on zoroark making it dizzy "zoroark! Stay strong buddie!" I yelled and zoroark again used sloppy night slashes but still very affective, zoroark knocked down golisopod and I threw the poke ball capturing it. I stayed quiet and by 4 spins it caught it! "Come out golisopod!" I yelled as it roared when it came out of the poke ball looking at me until it gave up and smiled at me. I smiled back as a new friend has been found.
