What a strange day!

Continuation to chapter 18

Y/N's POV:

Today was a day off from school for me although the rest of my friends had to go. Today was kinda like a day I could chill with my Pokémon instead of just go battling with some of them. Mimikyu was on my head while cosmog and poipole rested in my bag, I decided to do a camping day just to enjoy sometime alone. "This is a great spot!" Rotom said and I nodded while circling around it for fun. "Searching... How to build a tent." Rotom said and I sat down watching the video play with mimikyu. I then tried to build a tent which I greatly succeeded in "that's wrong!" Rotom said as I sat down to take a breather. "Then you do it." I replied as Rotom smiled and said "sure!" I had my doubts but in The end Rotom did build a working tent. "Welp. You won!" I said while Rotom smiled proudly, I went inside the tent after bringing out lycanrock and zoroark and getting Poipole and cosmog out of my bag. The tent was big although it wouldn't fit the rest of my Pokémon. I set the tent inside up as Rotom rested inside.

After finishing the tent I went outside to see if I knew how to start a fire. I surprisingly set up a fire with poipole and lycanrock as we sat around it. I brought out kommo-o, golisopod and garchomp because the area was big enough and the trees were tall enough. We all sat around the fire as I began to tell what I called great stories although kommo-o seemed displeased about it. I decided to go inside the tent when I heard "tapu-koko!" Up in the sky. I looked up and saw a yellow blur. "Guys! Follow me!" I yelled to my team and we started racing to catch up to tapu koko. We finally made it to an open area in the forest "aww! I should've set the tent here rotom!" I said and Rotom frowned saying "no time for this!" Lycanrock looked in front as I did and we both saw tapu koko at the end of the brush. Tapu koko looked me in the eye as I waved to it, It then made a move called thunder shock on mimikyu and I said "you wanna battle? Your on!". I looked at mimikyu as mimikyu stepped forward

and I said "mimikyu! Use feint attack!" And tapu koko dodged it, expected from an island guardian. Tapu koko then used a move called discharge while I said "mimikyu! Use play rough!" Tapu koko was hit but so was mimikyu. Tapu koko used a move called electro ball and I called "mimikyu! Let's do this!". I performed a series of poses along with mimikyu and I said "mimikyu! Use never-ending nightmare!" Tapu koko was now stuck in it. When the tentacles raised I couldn't see tapu koko but nonetheless tapu koko endured it by encasing itself in its shell. Tapu koko quickly flew over and gave me a hairpin. The same one lana gave to me. I smiled as tapu koko just hovered there, I was confused as to why it was still there I just assumed it'd take off and go. I asked "tapu koko?" As it then pointed to my bag, garchomp looked in my bag for me and took out three things. A ultra ball, candy and a max repel. I handed them to tapu koko as tapu koko then ate the candy and gave some max repel back to me and gestured to my mimikyu.

I gave it to mimikyu and healed it, tapu koko handed me the poke ball and it encased itself in its shell as it then danced around. It quickly stopped as it pointed to the poke ball and said "tapu koko!" Lycanrock moved in front and nudged my ultra ball saying "Lycanrock." Before looking at tapu koko again, tapu koko eyed me as I said "you wanna be caught??" Tapu koko nodded and I said "don't you need to do other things?" And tapu koko then nodded which was confusing but I did as asked since it was an island guardian. I threw the ultra ball hesitantly as it caught tapu koko, it spun around as I silently waited with my Pokémon who were also in shock. It then ended with sparkles as a tiny smile and a squeal escaped me. I picked it up and said "tapu-koko! Come out!" And it did so. I said "alola tapu koko! Welcome to my team!" And it then hugged me and I said "we're gonna have to keep you from The gang before the time is right. And because your still an island guardian!" Tapu koko greeted my team warmly as we then walked off to the tent.
