Continuation to chapter 28
Y/N's POV:
My mom bought me tickets to some show with fire works on melemele. This was about 4 days after the sleepover meaning I had so much time to get ready. I walked out with zoroark trying to map out my way to where it'd take place. I looked over and saw people gathered and I said "cmon zoroark!" Running with zoroark all the way there. Zoroark smiled looking at all the fire works on some small island. I saw an ultra wormhole open and out came a strange Pokémon that looked like a human, "zoroark! An ultra beast!" I yelled as zoroark barked back to me. I couldn't take action now because we were in public but one thing I could do was distract the ultra beast. "Nihilego! Come out!" I said as I knew ultra beasts had rivalry, people gasped looking over as a kid said "it's them!" The ultra beasts head exploded in the air and I said "that's right!". The ultra beast hopped over and I smirked as Nihilego screeched in a competitive way, the ultra beast made a sparking sound and I assumed it was some sort of communication and it seemed very aggressive to Nihilego.
"Nihilego! Zoroark! We're going to have to keep it here until the aether foundation gets here! Think you can do that?" I said as they both nodded and the ultra beasts head flew up and exploded causing a bit of burns on floors, it was getting aggressive. "Woah there! Your gonna hurt the people!" I said as Nihilego flew getting ready for a battle. I didn't plan on attacking it but if it was going to get aggressive then it'd had to be done, Rotom then said "I'm back with snacks!! AN ULTRA BEAST!" I nodded and Rotom said "where'd it come from! We need to wait for Lusamine!". Zoroark stared at the ultra beast used a move called calm mind, and it was on. "Zoroark! Use night slash but don't hurt it a lot!" I yelled as the ultra beast bowed before jumping into the air, it was going to be a tough battle. I gritted my teeth and Rotom said "oh! This is tough! We can't hurt it but it can hurt us!" Rotom span in circles trying to devise a plan. The ultra beast then swung back and used a move called ember zoroark dodged it but hurt.
"Nihilego! Use headbutt!" I called and the ultra beast didn't flinch. I stared as the ultra beast taunted me, I wanted to attack it but I couldn't until given the word by Lusamine or her team. I heard a bark and heard someone say "Y/N!" It was gladion and I said "I'm in the middle of battling an ultra beast!". Gladion got his umbreon out and he said "well there's also people here, you can't hit them!". He removed the people quickly and I said "when's your mom getting here!" Gladion hopped onto silvally and said "I don't know." I frowned as the ultra beast hit another attack. I just guessed Gladion was on crowd control or something, "I need another Pokémon out! Zoroark and Nihilego are worn out!" I said to Rotom as it was still trying to divide a plan. I grabbed an ultra ball and gritted my teeth my teeth but it had to be done, "Tapu-koko! Aid me!" I yelled and tapu koko came out. Gladion and some others gasped as an adult said "tapu koko!". I then called "tapu koko! Use nature's madness!" It lowered the ultra beasts HP making the ultra beast vulnerable.
I then decided to finally make a battle and I said "Tapu koko! Use electric terrain! Then use discharge!" And tapu koko did as asked making the ultra beast faint at how many moves I used to make it weaker. Clapping was heard from the crowd as I approached the ultra beast. The ultra beast struggled to get up as it screeched and I returned all my Pokémon, the Pokémon was about my height. I smiled as it screeched as it grabbed its head and played with it trying to make me forgive it. I then asked "wanna join my team? You can have so much fun and do all sorts of tricks and stunts!" The ultra beast made a giggling noise as I grabbed an ultra ball and said "get ready!" As I threw it. Gladion came up behind me and watched the poke ball roll, I looked at it as it then stopped rolling and I caught it. "Come out!" I said as I threw the poke ball into the air and the ultra beasts head blew as I laughed and hugged the ultra beast as Lusamine then called me and I let it ring but answered quickly after.
