Y/N's POV:

"Im back!!" I yelled walking into the Pokémon school. "Welcome back Y/N!" Kukui said as I showed them my z ring and crystal. "You got one!" Lana said as she looked at it. "We can battle now too and see who wins!" Kiawe said and I agreed. "Change of plans class! We will now see Kiawe and Y/N battle each other." Kukui said and me and Kiawe chose our Pokémon "turtonator! Come out!" Kiawe said and I said "zoroark! Aid me in this fight!". "Start!" Kukui said and I had the first move and I yelled "zoroark! Use night slash!" Zoroark began doing that but before he could get a hit in Kiawe said "counter it with shell trap!" Zoroark tried to avoid it but just couldn't. Zoroark was now on the ground severely hurt "stay with me zoroark! Use fury swipes!" I called out and before Kiawe could call a move turtonator was getting hit already. "Turtonator! Use dragon tail!" Kiawe said and zoroark was now damaged "zoroark! Use a series of hone claws but avoid the shell!" I said. Turtonator groaned as he got hit with many attacks "turtonator! Use flamethrower and spin around!" Kiawe ordered and it did some damage to zoroark.

I looked at my z ring and knew it was Time to use it "cmon buddy! Let's do this!" I did a series of poses with zoroark channeling z energy to him and yelled "use black hole eclipse!" Zoroark used the move and Kiawe yelled "turtonator! Dodge it!" But before it could happen turtonator was in the black hole already and I watched in awe with zoroark as it exploded dropping turtonator before disappearing. "Turtonator is unable to battle!" Professor kukui said as children not even from our class started clapping. I hugged zoroark and said "your amazing buddy! You did absolutely awesome!" Zoroark nuzzled me and Kiawe shook my hand saying "great battle!" I nodded as zoroark looked up at Kiawe. "They won! That battle was like so awesome!" Sophocles said before adding "this makes me want to analyze z moves even more now!" I heard a Pokémon call out from over head that sounded like "tapu-koko!" I saw the island guardian over head as it looked down at me and I waved while Kukui held onto his hat like he was going to lose it. "Melemele's island guardian! To go out of its way just to see a trainer battle! It must really have an interest in you!" Kukui said and I smiled.

I walked home with mimikyu and zoroark talking about today's battle. I got home and saw toucannon on the porch. I ran to toucannon and let him on my shoulder and brought him into the house as toucannon looked over at my z ring. "Honey! I heard about your battle and your z ring! I'm so proud of you! Seeing your dreams come true just lightens my heart!" Mom said as my mimikyu hugged her neck "you got a new Pokémon! What a cutie!" Mom said and mimikyu then scurried upstairs. "Kommo-o! Golisopod! Zoroark! Come out you guys!" I said throwing my poke balls into the air. Having high ceilings was always good considering golisopod was 6'7 (cannon height). We all ate as I talked about my encounters with the kahuna and the battle I had with him. Mom listened to me the whole way through it, toucannon was talking with my Pokémon. I walked upstairs looking outside the window until I heard the same noise "tapu-Koko!" I looked outside to see the island guardian Infront of me which spooked me a little. Golisopod greeted it warmly with a soft screech.

I looked back at tapu-Koko and it made some sort of face like it was happy. People have said that tapu-koko takes interest in me but I don't really know what that means. Tapu-koko encased itself into its shell making a bird sort of form, it looked more like a rooster. Tapu-koko then handed me my missing hair pin and took off. I waved and looked at the hair pin. Should I classify that as a nice memory? I questioned not knowing what to feel. I went back into bed with mimikyu, zoroark, galisopod and kommo-o all spread around my room sleeping. I stayed awake a little longer and all I could think about was the gran trial earlier. I made a goal in my mind. "I'd defeat all four grand trials!" I thought in my head. Each day the dream of becoming one of the best trainers in alola was coming true each day and I was happy for that. I closed my eyes and yawned feeling tired so I turned off the light and went to sleep very easily.
