Y/N's POV:

I was battling Guzma, a tough match. We walked onto the arena and Guzma smirked, we got our poke balls as Guzma said "golisopod! Come out!" And at the same time I said "blacephalon! Let's go out with a bang!". I had the advantage he with a fire type but golisopod was also a water type meaning any water type move would be affective. The announcer said "a blacephalon! An ultra beast! A recent one too! This is going to be a great battle." I smirked as Guzma frowned and he said "use first impression!" I smiled as it poisoned blacephalon but didn't to much. I then said "blacephalon! Use will-o-wisp!" Golisopod was hit and knocked back taking lots of damage, "golisopod! Use liquidation!" Guzma called and blacephalon took damage. I smiled and said "blacephalon! Use mystical fire!" It lowered golisopods attack and left damage as Guzma said "don't lose this! Use fury cutter!" Blacephalon gained scars and I said "keep it up! Use night shade!" Golisopod was scarred as it screeched before using liquidation on its own. I smirked and Guzma said "use pin missile!" It did little damage and I smiled and blacephalon started taunting golisopod.

"Blacephalon! Use stored power!" I said and it did little damage until i remembered I had a ghost type z crystal. I did a series of poses with blacephalon, it was there first time so they did freak out a bit. It channeled energy until I said "use never-ending nightmare!" Guzma made a hard frown and got really angry as golisopod laid there. The crowd clapped and golisopod then started to perform exploding there head making fire works. Guzma walked away scolding golisopod as golisopod tried to win over Guzma, I looked at them and it seems Guzma was still mad but wasn't mad at golisopod and instead yelled at his grunts. I high fives blacephalon as the announcer said "one more battle! Ilima vs lana!" I walked into the back rooms and hugged ilima and Lana saying "good luck to both!" As they laughed and blacephalon joined in. I walked to the stands as mom ran up to me and gave me a malasada saying "I'm so proud of you!" I smiled warmly as we walked to our seats and i greeted zoroark. I sat down seeing Lana and ilima walk into the arena as the crowd cheered loudly.

Third person POV:

Ilima and Lana got out their Pokémon as eevee said "eevee!" And primarina sang. Lana said "primarina! Use hydro pump!" Ilima smiled and said "dodge it if you will." And eevee did as asked. Lana smiled and said "primarina! Use water gun!" Eevee was propelled back on the stands as ilima turned and said "eevee! Use quick attack!" And eevee dodged an upcoming attack from primarina. Lana then said "use sparkling aria!" Eevee was hit and ilima said "use tackle!" Primarina was then bit as primarina dropped to the floor and eevee jumped back growling. "Primarina! Use hyper voice!" Lana said as eevee couldn't get a hit in. "Use growl!" Ilima said as it raised eevee's attack and Lana smiled saying "use captivate!" Eevee's special attack was now lowered. Ilima did a series of moves as he said "use extreme evoboost!" Lana smiled and said "get ready for this!". Primarina was hit by eevee but didn't faint, instead primarina took it as an opportunity throwing eevee back as lana did a series of poses. "Use hydro vortex!" Lana called and the z move triggered. Eevee was still standing as ilima smiled warmly as eevee then collapsed and fainted.

"W- we won! We won!" Lana said as she hugged primarina as ilima returned eevee and he approached lana. He grabbed her by the hand and put it up into the air and said "one of the last contestants!" The crowd clapped and the announcer said "what a great friendship! Now, the next battle is none other then! Lana vs Y/N!" Y/N ran down the steps and ran into the arena as they hugged ilima and lana at the same time saying "that was the best battle I've ever seen!" Kahuna hala joined in the hug and said "congratulations!" Y/N and lana hugged each other and lana said "let's have a great battle tomorrow!" Y/N nodded as they exited the arena both running off to the apartments to get a good nights sleep for the battle that would determine the first alola champion if able to beat professor Kukui. Y/N walked in and greeted tapu koko as they looked at the tapunium z. They yawned laying down in bed as they then slept. Lana laid down in bed covering her ears from her sisters yelling as primarina laid beside her, she went to sleep quietly snoring.
