Chapter 25

A flood of poison!

Continuation to chapter 24

Y/N's POV:

I walked to school the next day and I said "alola guys!" Mallow looked back and said "alola Y/N! How's solgaleo!" I hugged her and said "great! I still feel kinda guilty for not letting it go on walks with me!" Rotom crossed there arms and said "technically you can but you don't want to!" I laughed and said "way to encourage people!" And I walked off to class greeting the other Pokémon at tsareena flipped her hair like leafs. I sat on my chair in front of my desk. I then heard a yell from outside and we all got up as Kukui ran in and checked it out with us. I saw what looked like a gang and a couple of bikes and motorcycles. "Come on!" Kiawe yelled gesturing for us to go, we got down and gestured for students to clear the area. "Oi! Keep your heads up!" A pink haired girl said and I realized her name was plumeria. She popped her gum and Lana stared her dead in the eyes. "Welp! Anyone up for a battle?" I said as Tupp looked at me and sneered as the rest of the team skull grunts stared.

"Solgaleo! Co-" I yelled but interrupted by poipole going out of there poke ball to battle. I then smirked and said "not my plan. But I love the smell of poison early at the Pokémon school!" Poipole giggled as I then heard some grunts gasp. I saw a tall black haired man walk through, I noticed Kukui frown and I said "oh. It's just guzma. Hey! It's fine not much of a threat!" I teased and I heard a student laugh in the back ground zipp said "don't disrespect guzma like that!" And she then hushed as guzma said "hm. I've been yearning for a battle! Golisopod! Come out!". Neither of us had the upper hand which worried me, "golisopod! Use first impression!" Guzma said and as someone with a golisopod i said "whip around golisopod and use sludge bomb!" Guzma yelled "golisopod!" Golisopod was hit with poison which made it woozy for a second. I could see Guzma start to sweat as he yelled "golisopod! Use liquidation!" Poipole was hit but Poipole was a strong one and wasn't phased by it. I then yelled "Poipole! Use venom drench!" Golisopod wasn't poisoned but still hurt by it and I then smirked.

"Golisopod! Use pin missile!" Guzma yelled and Poipole was now on the ground. One of the missiles went towards me and poipole got up and tried to stop it with sludge bomb. Poipole was sweating as poipole then turned a blue colour as Rotom started to take pictures. Poipole grew a stinger and a long body structure. A new Pokémon was there as it then called something sounding like "naganadel." So I'd call it that as it then used acid on golisopod. Guzma started to sweat and said "let's leave. This battle is to easy." And plumeria nodded gesturing for the grunts to come along and I said "coward!" As naganadel then greeted me. "Poipole! You evolved into a... naganadel?" I said as poipole then clicked and said "yes." My eyes widened as gasps from different students and I said "you can talk!" Naganadel then said "telepathically! Although I will not use it often.". I smiled and said "nonetheless you look great!" As Sophocles went over and started to compliment naganadel and so did togedemaru. Naganadel was still the same old energetic and giggly poipole! I smiled at how happy naganadel was now that they finally evolved into something that is actually good at fighting although I always thought any Pokémon could be good if you train with them.

I walked home still thinking about Guzma and how he had retreated just because he found he was losing the battle. I really wanted to battle him as Kukui had talked about how good Guzma was at battle before he started team skull. I wiped the thought away as tapu koko came out on its own, I was walking alone and guaranteed no one was out at this time. I walked with tapu koko while I exchanged a few complaints about some people at the Pokémon school. We got home and I walked inside and told mom all about the battle and brought naganadel out to show her, she smiled as I went upstairs and brought my Pokémon out. It was now 1:33 am and my team laid down as I sat next to solgaleo stroking its mane as I slowly yawned. I got up and laid down in bed staring at the ceiling as I went to sleep. I looked at naganadel in the corner of the room next to tapu koko and I smiled as I then looked back at the ceiling slowly going to sleep.
