A battle that deceives!

Y/N's POV:

I looked at the sky before looking at Lana, she was across the field with primarina and I was across the field with garchomp. I looked down and said "well lana, let's do this?" Before lana smiled and said "primarina! Use sparkling aria!" I smiled and said "garchomp! Use dual chop!" Nanu looked at us battle remembering the garchomp he had battled. Primarina and garchomp both were hurt and lana called "use bubble beam!" Then I said "counter it using sandstorm!" Garchomp was in the air while primarina battled on the ground. If you looked close enough you could see Lusamine and the aether foundation watching. "Garchomp! Use dragon claw!" I said and primarina was knocked back. Lana gritted her teeth and she said "use icy wind!" It then froze garchomp to the ground as I started sweating and lana said "use a constant bubble beam!". Garchomp couldn't do any attacks or defend himself and I couldn't just watch. "Garchomp! Once primarina comes around use dragon Breath!" I said and before lana could retreat the attack primarina was paralyzed "give em a taste of there own medicine using a series of dragon claw!" Garchomp did as told as primarina stood.

"Primarina! Use misty terrain!" Lana said and primarina was no where in sight. Lana did a series of poses and said "use hydro vortex!" Garchomp tried to dodge it but couldn't and got swept inside. When the whirlpool stopped both primarina and garchomp were on the ground while Lana asked "what happened?!?" The announcer held the mic and said "it seems garchomp defended itself, but it didn't work out as planned!" Garchomp and primarina were struggling to get up. Garchomp and primarina got up at the same time and I said "use dragon claw quickly!" Lana nor primarina could act as garchomp then hit primarina a final time... I won. The crowd went wild as I walked over to primarina and lana helping primarina get up "hey lana. Thanks." I said as lana raised a brow. "For what?" Lana asked and I smiled saying "for being my best challenger." Lana happily smiled and hugged me as I hugged her back saying "your the best water type trainer I'll ever meet!" I laughed as lana said "thank you, thank you, thank you!" The crowd clapped as my friends ran down and we had a group hug happen as we all laughed contently.

They got off the arena as Kukui entered and said "beat me and you'll be a champion." I smiled and said "5 Pokémon to battle you! I already have chosen!" Kukui nodded as he then got out empoleon, I got out naganadel. (PLS PRETEND THE BATTLE HAPPENED AND THERE ON LAST POKÉMON IM TO LAZY AND DEMOTIVATED SRRY-) we were both sweating and all I had to go through was a incineroar. I was going to take out solgaleo when tapu koko came out on its own, I tried to stop it but the crowd already saw and gasped as the announcer called "ISLAND GUARDIAN TAPU KOKO HAS BEEN CAUGHT?!?" I held my hat as Kukui smiled and I said "tapu koko? Let's give em a show." Tapu koko made a call and I said "use brave bird!" Incineroar was knocked back and Kukui said "use throat chop!" Tapu koko dodged it and I said "use nature's madness!" It then halved incineroars health. "Incineroar! Use ember!" Kukui said as tapu koko was burned, tapu koko encased itself as Incineroar sent another ember blocking it. "Tapu koko! Use electro ball!" I said and Incineroar was hit in the chest knocked back.

This battle went on as we exchanged moves and Kukui finally broke it as he did a series of moves, he then said "use inferno overdrive!" In the masked royals voice and tapu koko was hit as it fell to the ground. "Tapu koko!" I yelled and tapu koko slowly got up and eyed the tapunium z. I did a series of poses and the announcer said "what's this?" I then said "Tapu koko! Use guardian of alola!" Tapu koko then summoned a large body and became the head that looked like a bird. Kukui held his hat as the ground then broke beneath then and I smirked saying "keep it up my friend!" Zoroark smiled being let into the stands. I laughed as Kukui looked in disbelief as Incineroar fainted and tapu koko shrunk. I stared into the distance in disbelief but was broken by receiving a hug from tapu koko. I looked up and said "well." Kukui ran over and hugged me saying "you did great!" The crowd had done immense cheering and all the kahuna's then said "Y/N! The new alolan champion!" I smiled. (Time skip) I placed the trophy in my room as I laid down on my bed with my Pokémon. I smiled and said "looks like I have a new reputation." Before falling asleep.
