sorry this took so long BUT AT LEAST IT FINALLY HAPPENED
"I can't find it!" Chifuyu whined and looked at Baji defeated. "It's alright, we can just order it." The ravenette ruffled the blond's hair. Chufuyu pouted and slowly nodded his head. Baji frowned at seeing the younger so disappointed. "Wait outside for me, I'll be right there." He told the blond and ushered him to the door before going up to the counter where a red-haired man was sitting down reading a newspaper. "Good afternoon!" The ravenette greeted in his best English. "Oh, hello! How can I help you, are you checking out?" The cashier asked, setting his newspaper aside. "Actually I wanted to ask if you guys had a book called The Outsiders?" Baji asked, hoping that was the correct title of the book Chifuyu was searching for. "I think we may have a copy of it in the back, by S.E Hinton right?" The male stood up and waited for the ravenette's response before going to look for the book.
Baji waited there patiently for the employee to return, hopefully with the book in hand. The redhead emerged from the backroom with a book in hand. "I believe this is what you're looking for?" He prompted and slid the book onto the counter. Of course, Baji had never seen the book in his life and wasn't even sure that he told the man the correct title, but it hopes he was correct he confirmed that it was the right book and purchased it. The ravenette walked out of the bookstore and found Chifuyu sitting down outside at a cafe next door. "Hey there cutie, you single?" He joked and covered the blond's eyes. "Nope, I am happily married to a very handsome man who runs an international company!" He answered and looked up at Baji before they both began to laugh.
"Married, eh?" The older questioned and kissed the blond on the forehead. "Yep! In fact, I'm pregnant on top of that." Chifuyu snorted as he stood up. "Oh really now? Is it a girl or a boy?" The ravenette asked as he handed the younger male the bag from the bookstore. "I dunno yet, maybe its twins!" The blond giggle and opened the bag, his jaw dropped. "Oh my god! You found it!!" Chifuyu exclaimed and embraced Baji, squeezing the air out of the older. "Thank you so much!! How much was it, I'll pay you back." The blond pulled out his wallet, ready to hand Baji the cost of the book. "Don't worry about it. You don't have to pay me back. I bought you the book because I enjoy seeing you smile like you did just now." The ravenette ruffled the younger's hair. The blond blushed ferociously and looked the other way, only for Baji to gently turn his face back towards him.
"Don't hide your face from me, you know I love looking at you." The ravenette smiled and the younger felt no sense of hostility or dishonesty coming from him. Just pure love and affection, which is all he wanted in a lover. All he longed for, for such a lengthy amount of time, he found it in the older man standing before them. And he wanted to stay by his side with this feeling for as long as he lived. If he were to tell the latter that, he'd surely have no objections whatsoever. But the blond couldn't bring himself to do so, luckily after tonight it may bring him the courage to speak up on all these feelings he had bubbling inside of him like a volcano on the verge of eruption. "Are we going to stare at each other all day or should we get going?" Baji chuckled and held his hand out for the blond to hold. "I suppose we should continue our romantic outing." Chifuyu spoke in English before he playfully sighed and took the older's hand. "Alright my good sir, where to now?" The ravenette clasped his hand around the latter's slightly smaller one as he responded to him in English as well. "Well, probably the car??" The blond had to stifle a laugh and restrain himself from adding a quick "duh" at the end. Baji snorted but kept his act together, willing himself to stay in character.
"All right then, follow me my prince. To the, erm, carriage?" The ravenette shrugged, not entirely certain about his English right then. Chifuyu finally lost it and burst into laughter. "Babe, what the hell is a carriage? Aren't those pulled by horses?" The blonde giggled, switching back to his native language. "Well, aren't you an uneducated one? I believe carriages aren't only pulled by horses but I actually don't know myself." Baji laughed and scratched his head. "Oh what the hell, and you call me uneducated." The younger laughed and then eyed a watch in a jewelry store. He attempted to look away before the ravenette noticed, but he notices everything about the blond so that didn't go as he hoped it would. "Do you want that watch? It's nice, I'll buy it for you." He offered as he pointed in the window. "Ahh! No, no. It's fine, you've seriously gotta stop buying me everything I look at babe." Chifuyu frantically answered, trying to keep the older from spending more money on him. "I mean, you just bought me something not even fifteen minutes ago." He tried to reason and stepped in front of the watch on the other side of the building.
