"Mm, where are you going 'Fuyu?" Baji mumbled as he woke up and rubbed his eyes. "To the pet shop, gotta make sure business is still on track." The blond answered as he pulled one of the ravenette's shirts over his head. It reached down to his mid-thigh and the ravenette couldn't get over how cute his fiancé looked wearing his shirt. "Can't you go later? Besides, you haven't even had breakfast yet," The older tried to reason but the truth was he wanted to cuddle his partner while he was clad in only his shirt and attack him with kisses. Chifuyu was putting a hold to that fantasy becoming reality though because he continued to get dressed as he responded, "I did have breakfast." Baji huffed and got out of their comfortable shared bed to embrace his fiancé from behind, the fragrance of vanilla and chamomile mixing with his own scent of cigarettes and chrysanthemums flooding his senses and only made him want the blond to stay even more.

"Keisuke, I love you but I have work to do just like you." The younger chuckled and reached up to comb his fingers through the older's hair. "But why can't you go to work later?" The ravenette mumbled against his lover's bare neck before pressing a tender kiss there. "Because I haven't showed up for like a week. Peke J will keep you company," Chifuyu smiled and turned around in his fiancé's hold to give him a quick kiss. The older leaned his head on the blonds shoulder and pouted. "But Peke J isn't you," he whined which earned a laugh from the male he refused to let go of. The blond's laughter was one of the older's favorite sounds, it was a beautiful melody not even Mozart could rival and he loved being the cause of that magnificent sound.

"That's true, but if you occupy yourself with him you won't even notice I'm gone." The younger smiled as he caressed his partners' cheek and wriggled out of his hold. "I'll be back before you know it!" He promised and gave the ravenette one last kiss before leaving the room and once Baji heard the front door close disappointment washed over him. There wasn't much he could do, but there was one thing. The ravenette went to find something to eat for breakfast and settled on some toaster pastries, nothing extravagant. Just simple and absolutely delicious. He filled Peke J's food and water bowls and they played together for a bit after finishing breakfast.

"We're going to go visit 'Fuyu at work! Doesn't that sound like fun?" Baji grinned, proud of his decision but Peke J shook his fur covered head in disagreement. "What? Why not?" The human of the house raised an eyebrow at the cat sitting in front of him who responded with a very good point. "Yeah that's fair. Maybe we can bring him some lunch during his break!" The ravenette suggested and Peke gave his approval, holding his paw up for a high five which the man happily returned. Satisfied, the cat sashayed off somewhere in their new home. The ravenette chuckled and got up off the floor to go brush his teeth and shower.

Baji had never gone shopping with a cat before, or any animal at that, but it was certainly interesting. Especially because Peke J was such a smart animal, he was definitely an advanced four-legged being. By the time they were done with their shopping trip the ravenette had a number of bags dedicated to merely cat stuff Peke had pointed out and even took upon himself to put into the cart. A bit too advanced if you ask me. "Peke J, why on Earth does cat stuff cost so much?" Baji mused as he and Peke J walked down the sidewalk to their next destination, a restaurant he'd ordered from about twenty minutes prior to going to the pet shop. "Why" you might be thinking. Well, to pick up Chifuyu's lunch! As you may know, that idiot ravenette is head over heels for Chifuyu and would do anything to see a smile on his face—hence why he didn't beat the living shit out of Kazutora the day before—so he bought him yakisoba to eat for lunch.
