"And what do you think you two are doing?!"

David walked in to the room, slamming the door with his palm. Using a demanding tone on his voice as he asked.

He was furious, his eyes narrowed, his lips formed into a perfect straight line.

Two guards were on top of me, trying to hold me down. They immediately moved away from me as they saw David standing by the doorway.

His fists ready to strike any time soon.

"Alpha."

They bowed.

"What's the meaning of this?"

He snapped.

"We had orders from your mother t-"

"Get out."

"But-"

"Now."

"We have specific orders from your mother, Sir. We have to-"

"Are you not understanding my words?"

Even I wanted to get out.

"We will take any punishment from you, Sir. But not before we complete our duties."

He walked towards them, twisting their heads. Their bodies falling to the floor, laying right under his feet.

He picked them up by the collar, easily carrying one by each hand.

He broke the door open with his foot, throwing the bodies outside the hallway.

I watched, speechless.

If you ever angered a wolf, bad luck for you. Anger an Alpha, you will end up dead.

I moved to the farthest side of the bed away from him as he got closer to the bed.

His eyes quickly looked up at mine as he heard the sound of the chain attached to my neck.

He had arrived just in time before they attached me to a wall or something but I still had that huge collar on my neck.

He released a loud sigh as he grabbed the long chain that was meant for pulling me.

He gently pulled towards him so I would get closer for him to observe me.

"And you happily let them do this to you?"

He darkly asked.

"They injected me with something..."

I trailed off, not wanting to finish. Anything could trigger a sudden reaction from him. One word or one movement. His eyes were lighter, almost glowing now.

Out of nowhere, he did something that left me speechless.

He pulled on the chain, catching me in his arms. He pressed his body into mine as he pulled me closer, leaning his head down on my neck. He inhaled my scent, releasing a loud sigh.

He was pressing my back with his hands, digging his finger tips a bit.

"Have you eaten yet?"

He quietly asked without lifting up his head. At least he didn't sound angry any more but by the way he was holding me told me the opposite .
