Chapter 2: Searching The Spell

"We're here." Luke said.

Luke noticed the burnt marks from my rampage and little drops of dried blood. He then tries to open the door but it was locked.

"Out of the way." Camille said.

Camille closed her eyes, took a deep breath and her hair began to rise. Her aura began to feel heavy and it began to push us away from her.

She suddenly stopped what she was about to do and just punched the door open.

"Well that was anticlimactic." Luke said. "I'm not wasting my powers just to open a door." Camille said. Luke gave a disappointed look since he wanted to see it what was going to happen.

We enter John's house and search in his room for the book. Luckily Azora found it under his bed and pulled it out.

"Now, where's the glossary in this thing?" Luke asked. "Try saying what you're looking for." Camille said.

"Bringing the dead to life... spell thingy!" Luke said. Suddenly the book flipped itself to the Revival Section of the book where there was many spells but each with a different cost.

"That's the one Tom used once when we fought Jackal but the cost was half his lifetime." Luke said as he pointed on the book.

"Try to find one that doesn't require the life of someone." Azora said.

As Luke kept searching, Camille sensed something was off. "Keep searching, and whatever you do, don't stop until you find it, I'll be right back." Camille said right before she stood up and walked outside of the room.

Camille summoned her sword and began to search outside the house. She walked outside and flew to the roof to see if anything was out there, but she couldn't find anything.

Suddenly, Camille was struck by a yellow beam from behind and launched her off of the roof and landed on the floor.

"What was that?!" Luke asked. "Keep searching, I will go and help Camille!" Azora said right before she ran out.

"Camille, what happened?!" Azora asked. "Up there, someone is targeting us." Camille said as she pointed to the roof. Azora looked up and saw a demon with bright yellow eyes and hair, wearing a cloak.

"My name is Lucian, I was sent here by Lord 3rd to stop whatever you are doing!" Lucian said. "Plasma Beam!" He added, launching a yellow beam towards them, so Azora pulled Camille with her to avoid the beam.

Camille stood up and pulled her arm back as fast as possible. Lucian was confused why she did that. "Moving your arm back won't do anything to me..." Lucian said, right before being interupted by the strings Camille used to rip off his entire left arm.

Lucian was shakened and all he could do is scream in pain as he fell back and off the roof.

"Hurry, let's go and kill him while we have the chance!" Camille said as she leaped over the house, followed by Azora.

Once they reached the other side of the house, the demon was slowly regenerating his arm. Camille sprinted to Lucian winding back her sword and swung at his neck.

"Plasma Orb!" Lucian said, throwing an orb at Camille's stomach. Once the orb made contact, Camille was launched back into the air while blood came out of her mouth.

"Why are you helping these demons?" Lucian asked as he stood up with his arm fully regenerated. Azora didn't respond, instead she sprinted to Lucian while summoning her sickles she used against Pazuzu.

Lucian sprinted towards Azora and summoned his double sided axe and swung it against Azora's sickles. Camille finally slammed to the ground and quickly rushed to help Azora.
