Chapter 12: It Shall Commence

"Chris, what did you do?" Max asked.

I slowly wake up and realize I was back with everyone. "I... tried to stop the war." I said. "How?" Tom asked. "I tried threatening them but everything escalated... I was winning and even unlocked something new which frightened them." I said.

"Chris, this isn't a game where you brag about winning, you just made yourself more of a target!" Max said, being angry at me. "Stop treating me like a fucking child Max, I'm a fucking king, maybe even a God!!" I yelled. "I'll stop treating this, so called God, like a child until he stops behaving like one!!" Max yelled.

Silence entered Camille's living room as everyone was around both of us.

"Uhhh guys, you might want to stop arguing and look outside!" John said as he stared outside through the window.

We all walk outside and see the sky turned blood red with red lightning everywhere. "What's happening?!" Sean asked. "I don't know!" Alexander said.

"The rulers are here!" Azora said as she pointed down the street. "Oh fuck!" Kathy said. "And they brought their armies!" Krystal added.

"Shit, the war started... okay, everyone evacuate the humans nearby and take them as far as you can from here!" I said. "What about you?!" Luke asked. "I'll have to buy you guys some time." I said.

"Chris, let me stay to help!" Luke said. "Luke no, help the others evacuate everyone... I'll be okay." I said.

"Alright guys, let's get everyone out of here now!" Max said as everyone followed.

"Time to end this once and for all." I said to myself. I walk towards the rulers and their armies full of many Archdemons, but I soon noticed the demons we faced before were the ones in front of the armies.

"We meet again Chris!" Jackal said. I started to worry after seeing Jackal was back alive, and questioned if my corrupted version could return since he was here.

"Where's everyone else, are the cowering in fear!" Shadowman said. "For God's sake you're annoying." Valkus said towards Shadowman. "Both of you quit it!" Khan added. "Shut up old man!" Shinra said. "All of you quiet!" Clockwork said as he slammed his cane down.

"Thanks Clockwork for shutting them up, I was getting a migraine just from hearing them." I said. "Don't thank me yet kid." Clockwork said. "Uhh, okay?" I added in confusion.

"It is good to see you're still alive for this war my boy, now summon your army so we can begin." Clockwork said. "Why are you being so nice to him?" Zozo asked. "That is none of your concern." Clockwork added.

"I demand to battle with a single demon before the war begins!" I said. "Why are you willing to waste your energy?!" Mammon said. "Just a little warm up!" I said. "As you wish!" Satan added.

I summoned my chains and wrap them around Zozo so I could pull him towards me. "I'm killing you before the war starts just so you don't get in my way!" I said. "Bring it on then!" Zozo said as he broke free from my chains. "Solar Flare!" He added, sending a flare towards me. I managed to dodge it but didn't notice Zozo was also charging towards me.

Zozo quickly kicks me in the chest, launching me to the ground on my back. I quickly get back up and summon my blood scythe so I could sprint towards him and swing at him.

"A scythe? How many weapons do you have?!" Zozo asked as he parried my attacks with his sword. "Plenty to kill you with." I said as I kept swinging my scythe at him.

I managed to pierce my scythe in Zozo's chest, so I quickly swung him into the air and made my scythe disappear. I followed him into the air and held my palm on his back. "Push!" I said as I kept pushing him to the sky. "Reality Swap!" I added, teleporting me in Zozo's position while he was below me.
