Chapter 33: Family Reunion

***(Play Song when it is instructed)***

"Come on, Christ! Give it your best shot!?" I said as I summoned my chains. "You have doomed humanity, Chris, by giving your corrupted self a body, you have doomed us all!" Jesus said. "Not quite. He may be powerful, but I won't give up to stop him!" I said, bolting at him while swinging my chains.

"Godspeed!" Jesus said as he vanished into thin air. "Tracker Sense!" I said, boosting all my senses to predict Christ's attack. I swung my chains behind my back, wrapping them around Christ's body, then swung him over me to slam him into the ground. "Godspeed won't help you against my Tracker Abilities!" I said.

"Destructive Gospel Flame!" Jesus said as his back instantly burst flames up towards me, but I quickly teleported away before I was hit by them. "Your senses are fast, but there's always a catch when overdoing an ability!" Jesus said.

"There's only an effect if the user is not is not prepared for the ability they use!" I said. "And how many times have you used this ability?!" Jesus asked as he lowered his guard and smiled. "Like... three times!" I said.

Suddenly, I stopped using the Tracker Senses and felt immense pain in my eyes and head, making me fall to the ground. "Bingo!" Jesus said as he bolted towards me, summoning his sword and swinging it at me. I couldn't focus on dodging the attack, so I closed my eyes and hoped my regeneration would save me once the attack hit me.

Suddenly, I heard a clashing sound and realized it was Sam, blocking the sword with her forearms. "How much time before the pain will stop!?" Sam asked. "About a couple of minutes!" I said. "Good, I'll buy you some time, Ice Blast!" Sam said, launching Christ away with the ice blast and freezing his body, leaving only the head free.

Sam quickly summoned two elongated bladed axes and charged at Christ. Jesus broke free from the ice and summoned an extra sword and bolted towards Sam. "You don't have the strength to defeat me!" Jesus said as both him and Sam got up close. "We'll see about that!" Sam said, swinging her axes at him.

Sam's axes clashed with Christ's swords back and forth at impossible speeds that my eyes couldn't keep up with them. Quickly, Sam ducked under an attack and swung upwards, catching Christ off guard, but Jesus managed to use a sudden attack by using Holy Presence on her. Once the ability was used, Jesus realized it had no effect on Sam, and she was still able to strike Christ's chest.

"Lucky shot, Gospel's Faithful Slash!" Christ said as he swung both his swords at Sam at a rapid speed, but Sam quickly blocked the attack by using her axes and held her ground.

"How are you able to withstand my strength?!" Jesus asked as he's confused about how Sam has gotten this powerful. "If I were you, I wouldn't focus your attention on me!" Sam said as she looked up and smiled at Jesus. "What?!" Christ said, looking up to see me suddenly appearing behind Sam. "Rookie mistake Christ!" I said, instantly swinging my fist directly onto his nose, knocking him back and getting his golden blood on my knuckles.

"How were you able to recover so quickly? Other demons I've killed couldn't even heal with such great speed!" Jesus asked. "Since I only used that ability for a short time, it didn't affect me for long!" I said as I wrapped my chains around my forearms. "Or probably because I'm a God!" I added, instantly bolting towards Christ.

"Do you still believe yourself to be one of us? You're delusional!" Christ said as he swung his swords at me. I raised my left arm to block both swords, and the chains managed to protect my arm from any injury. Christ quickly tried to kick upwards and managed to strike me directly in the stomach, making me spit blood. I quickly recover from the kick and quickly swing my right fist upwards to try and strike his chin, but I missed, and Christ smiled as he stared into my eyes, knowing the mistake I just did.
