Chapter 34: A New God

"I'll kill every single one of you, especially you... brother!!" Lucifer said as he charged at us, turning his sickles back into his gauntlets. "Brace yourselves!" Jesus said as he lifted his arms towards Lucifer.

Christ, before Lucifer could attack, launched him back and quickly summoned an angel out of thin air. Lucifer stood back up and noticed the being that was summoned, and he instantly began to feel a bit of fear. "Hello Lucifer, up to no good again?!" The being said with a soft, low, and soothing voice. "Who is that?!" Max asked.

"This is the counterpart of the Sin of Pride. Meet the Virtue of Humility, Harper!" Jesus said. "It feels great to be awakened after centuries of sleep!" Harper said, turning to face us and ignoring Lucifer. Lucifer furiously charged toward Harper and swung his fist, directly aiming at the side of Harper's head, making dust appear around both of them.

A loud bang was heard as the dust around us blocked our vision. I squinted through the dust to see if I could find them, but in the blink of an eye, they bolted right past me as they clashed their fists together over and over. "They're so fast. My Tracker Eyes can't even keep up with their movements!" I said. "You could say that again!" Luke added. "Look at their precision, their accuracy, their literal fucking strength!" Sam added.

Lucifer and Harper clashed their fists multiple times that we were able to feel the impact waves. My Tracker Eyes are able to see openings, but with their speed, those opening close too quick for me to react.

"Come to your senses, Lucifer, there is no chance you will win against me!" Harper said as he kept swinging his fists and legs, and some attacks were actually hitting Lucifer. Lucifer yelled furiously, increasing his speed and strength by the second, screaming so loud we had to cover our ears for a moment. One swing after another, his strength was increasing fast, and Harper began to feel overwhelmed.

"Max, teleport Harper over here! I'll quickly teleport all of us around him so we can all attack him at once!" I said. "It's too risky!" Max said, hesitant at first. "Max, trust me, I have an idea!" I added, making him hesitant to agree, but he did in the end.

Max teleported Harper behind Jesus, and I instantly teleported all of us to surround Lucifer, who was confused for the sudden change. Camille was the first to charge at Lucifer, making her first attack to be impactful, so she clenched her right fist and landed a solid, powerful punch that made Lucifer spit out blood. Max followed behind and summoned multiple of his daggers so he could stab them into Lucifer's chest and back.

"Luke!" Max yelled out, making Luke instantly know what he has to do. Luke quickly leaped into the air, summoned his bow and arrow, and aimed at the many daggers inside Lucifer's chest. "Thundering Arrow!" Luke said, pulling back to fire the arrow, emitting a thunderbolt that formed into a green electric dragon heading towards Lucifer once he fired the arrow. The Electric Dragon flew down towards Lucifer, lighting up the area around with the color green and roaring as it got close to him. Quickly, Lucifer raised his hand so a large stone wall would rise from he ground in front of him, blocking the Electric Dragon's attack.

Lucifer failed to notice Sam on his left side and myself on his right side, both winding our right fists back, charged up with energy and power. "Energy Discharge!" Sam and I said, punching his sides with immense energy that his innards began to burst out and our fists were lodged in.

"You bastards! Shadow Claws!" Lucifer said, slashing at our backs. "Dark Threads!" Camille said, slicing through the wall that Lucifer made with Max right behind her, jumping through.
