Chapter 22: Double Trouble

"Time freeze!" Luke said. Luke quickly bolted towards Satan and punched him all around his body while everything was still frozen.

"Release!" Luke said. All the punches damaged Satan as one punch after another was launching him around. Satan felt a cold liquid run down his nose, so he rubbed under his nose to see blood was oozing out. "Catastrophic Thunderbolt!" Luke said as he fired his thunderbolt at Satan. "Guiding Wind Current!" Satan said as he used the wind to move the thunderbolt around him and launch back to Luke, hitting him in his arms as he tried to block it.

"Now you know how your little thunderbolts feel once they hit you!" Satan said. "I didn't feel anything, you're just weak to endure my thunder!" Luke said as his arms healed up.

Satan quickly flew towards Luke and swung his leg, making it emit a dark red flame. Luke catches the leg with both of his hands and instantly shocked Satan with his electricity without letting go of his leg. "You little bastard, Catastrophic Pulse!" Satan said, as a large wave of energy pushed Luke away from Satan, giving them a far distance from each other.

"I don't think Luke is going to last long enough to fight him off!" Kathy said. "We have to help him!" Sam said. "No, if we get in the way, we'll either die, or Luke will die!" Tom said.

"Could you three shut up and kill these fucking demons!?" Sean said as he sliced off a demon's head. "Don't tell me what to do!" Tom said.

"Tom, focus!" Camille added. "Yes ma'am!" Tom said as he instantly pierced his sword through a demon's heart.

"Chris denied my offer, are you going to do the same?!" Satan asked. "Depends the offer!" Luke said as he summoned his spear. "We can rule this world, rule over these demons... all you have to do is join me!" Satan said.

"Interesting offer, what do I get afterwards!?" Luke said as he began to think about it. "Immortality, you can outlive anyone, leaving you as the king of all!" Satan said. "It dies sound like a great deal... I accept it then!" Luke said as he slowly flew towards Satan.

"What did Luke just say?!" Alexander said, overhearing the conversation. "What's wrong?!" Max asked. "He's agreeing to Satan's deal!" Alexander said. "What?!" Clockwork asked. "Is he insane?!" John asked.

"I'm not letting that future to happen." Clockwork said under his breath, then flying up towards them.

Satan reached out his hand so they could both agree to a handshake to complete the deal. Luke still held his spear as he got closer to Satan. "Frozen In Time!" Clockwork said, freezing only Satan. "Kid, what were  you thinking?!" Clockwork asked as he held Luke by his shoulders. "I wasn't actually going to agree you idiot, I was trying to make him lower his guard so I could attack!!" Luke said.

"Well attack him now while he's frozen in..." Clockwork said, right before blood poured out of his mouth. "Clockwork, you okay?!" Luke asked, right before noticing Satan's entire arm pierced into Clockwork's body.

"Such a mere, pathetic demon... both of you!" Satan said as he threw Clockwork's body back to the ground.

Clockwork's body landed right in front of John, splattering his blood everywhere. "Is that... Clockwork?!" Krystal asked. "I'm afraid so..!" John said as he looked away, distracting himself from seeing his dead corpse.

"Also, your little plan was never going to work, I knew that you, of all demons, wouldn't accept this offer..." Satan said as he appeared behind Luke. "You're intelligent... but you're also weak!" Satan said as he swung his fist, hitting Luke back to the ground with a large impact. Satan slowly followed behind.

"Luke?!" Max yelled as he noticed the deep crater with dust covering it that was made after Luke's impact. "I'm fine... just some broken ribs, but I can just heal them... go and find Azora and Tyler... I don't think Tyler has much time left!!" Luke responded.
