Chapter 24: Gods

"So you've unlocked the second to last demon form, you really are dangerous." God said. "And here I thought God was holy, turns out you're way to arrogant." I said, summoning my chains.

Suddenly an angel bursted through the door to alarm God about a break in. "My God, a young demon has broken into our sanctuary and is headed this way!" The angel said. "What? Sound the alarms and terminate that demon!" God said. "We can't, he's being protected by one of our own!" It added.

"A young demon protected by an angel, why does that sound familiar... oh shit it's Luke and Azora!!" I said in my head. "Wait, don't kill them!!" I said as I ran out to find them, changing into my Pride Demon Form with my eyes emitting fire again. "Stop him!" God demanded.

As I searched around the sanctuary for Luke and Azora, Apollo began to sniff for Luke and started to sprint. "Good boy Apollo, lead me to them!" I said, noticing everyone is panicking while the angels were trying to stop me.

I suddenly noticed from a far that Luke was surrounded by angels and Azora was held by six of them. "Apollo, stay, I don't want you to get hurt!" I said, making Apollo stay behind. I leaped into the air while summoning my large hammer, charging up an attack.

"Power Discharge!" I said as I slammed my hammer down to knock away all the angels around Luke and release Azora. "Stay the hell back, I'm not afraid to kill an angel!" I said as I switched my hammer into my scythe.

"Enough!!" God yelled, making the angels back away. God lifted his hand that emitted a golden glow and suddenly Luke and I were lifted into the air, unable to move.

"You two have caused enough chaos in my sanctuary!" God said. "You started it... you asked me to come to your sanctuary expecting that I, who is a demon, won't cause trouble!" I said. "I expected an agreement, not an altercation!" God added. "You were the one that started the altercation, you dumb fuck!!" I yelled, pointing out the obvious.

"How dare you blame the All Mighty Father for your doings!" An angel said, pointing a spear right at my throat. "Okay you listen to me God, I heard from Leviathan that another war was going to happen if I continued my path, the Second Demon And Angel War, am I wrong?!" I said. "Indeed, you're not incorrect, but that's what the meeting was for, to prevent the war by exterminating you." God said.

"And what will you gain if you did kill me, all you will cause is the imbalance in good and evil, making things worse!" I said. A silence roamed around us as he realized what I meant. "Let them go." God demanded as he released us from his powers. "But..." An angel said. "Let them go, I will deal with this another day." God said.

The angels placed down their weapons and flew away to do angel things... I think.

"And as for you Azora, I just have one small question before you leave." God said. "What is it?" Azora asked. "How would it feel to be human?" God said, immediately blasting Azora with his power, removing her Angel Powers and making her a 15 year old mortal girl. "Azora!!" Luke yelled as he chraged up an attack. "Now you may leave." God added as he opened a portal behind us and launched all three of us through it and end up at the church.

"Azora, wake up! Please wake up!!" Luke frantically tried to wake her up as tears rolled down his face. "Come on, we need to get out of here before that priest notices us back." I said, picking up Azora and running out with Luke right behind.

We make it out of the church and make it back to my house, breaking down the door. "Why did you break the door?!" Jade angrily asked. "I'll make a new one, just remove the pillows from the couch so I can lay her down!" I said. As Jade removed the pillows, she questioned who the girl was. "Who's that, and where's Azora?" Jade asked.
